The Synchrophasotron Main Control Room for the Joint Institute For Nuclear Research At Dubna, Russia in the late 1950s. The synchrophasotron was a particle accelerator for protons. The syncrophasotron was in operation from 1957 to 2003. Its purpose was similar to today’s Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
