He was born to Laura Levine and her boyfriend Remington Atwood Sr. when she was in High School.

Laura quit school to raise Patrick on her own, he grew up in Hillcrest Trailer.

Growing up Patrick earned the nickname Pattycake, he isn't really fond of the name, but it stuck.

Patrick met his boyfriend in High School, it was a whirlwind romance.

Patrick did well in school, getting a scholarship for college.

When he was in college, his boyfriend from Angel Ridge passed away.

Patrick went into a depression which caused his grades to slip, and he went on academic probation.

He dropped out of college, getting his paralegal degree but not his law degree.

Shortly after, his mother fell ill.

Eventually, he pushed his mother to tell him about his father.

Hearing that his father was Remington Atwood Sr. he sought him out for help with medical expenses, when Remington Sr. declined he threatened to tell everyone that the great Atwood Family abandons their children.

Upon being blackmailed, Remington Sr. offers him a job instead of giving him money, which Patrick accepted, knowing his mom wouldn't accept money from his father.

The first day on the job, he finds out he has a half brother. Patrick was hoping to get to know him, so he pulled his brother aside and told him. It did not end well. Ever wince theirs been friction.

After arguing with a client about his court date being delayed, Patrick decided to go to "the local bar" to get a beer and relax before heading home. Still fuming, Patrick angrily sat down in an empty booth.

blue sat on the steps of his run-down home. his mother, sister and daughter were inside but he couldn't stand the noise. he couldn't believe his friend was gone and now, other friends had also decided to leave the gang - to make their own. it was just too much change and loss and he couldn't help a tear spilling onto his cheek... just as someone passed. he angrily wiped it away and narrowed his eyes at them. "whataya want?" he snapped.

"Just walking by man, are you good?" Patrick replied, standing awkwardly at a distance. Patrick noticed the tear stain on blue's cheek but opted out of saying anything so as not to embarrass him and instead got closer and put a hand on blue's shoulder.
