Howdy! Welcome to flower clan. This comic will NOT follow gameplay, this is a story based comic! I'm not following any gameplay, as I feel like clans in game get way too big way too fast.

I will draw one page a week (usually) with written text as well!!! Every page will be tagged #moon number. This way you can look up #moon 0 to go to the beginning!!!

No post this week, uber sick

Hawknettles spirit had been roaming- trying desperately to find his clan kin. She did not want to spend the afternoon alone. Lilyglad, sensing his spirit was nearer, left the clan alone last moon. She brought Hawknettle home- not his home, but somewhere her spirit could call home.

Lilyglade and Hawknettle meet with Dandelionpaw in the wee hours of the morning to explain things. Lilyglade explained she left so abruptly because she was afraid of losing Hawknettles "trace".

Dandelionpaw interally: So she didn't leave me because she hated me...

After waking up, Dandelionpaw explains to Thistlepaw what is to happen: he will mentored in his sleep by Hawknettle. Thistlepaw is ecstatic at the news!

Thistlepaw internally: Finally I can get some real help learning, and real battle training!

That night Thistlepaw's first night time training started with an assessment of what he's done so far. Hawknettle is impressed at Thistlepaw's hunting abilities and obverance.

Dandelionpaw: Insecure, thoughtfull, ghost sight. Dandelionpaw has been reassured by Lilyglade's return, however his faith in himself remains shaken. He feels like his brother has become distant. He is jealous of Lilyglade becoming friends with Hawknettle, as he has no friends.

Thistlepaw: Daring, responsible, oddly observant. This has been a very good month for Thistlepaw. He is a naturally skilled hunter. Thistlepaw is quite tired by his training regiment. This has led him to nap more, meaning he has little time with Dandelionpaw. He worries about his brother, but knows this is what he must do.

Lilyglade: Compassionate, loving, beloved kitsitter. Medicine cat ancestor of Bud clan. Lilyglade is so happy that Hawknettle is now here. She hopes to some day guide Wisteriaclaw back as well, if she has the chance. She very worried about Dandelionpaw though. She is trying to mend the rift in their relationship caused by her abrupt absence.

Hawknettle: He/ She. 139 moons. Elder. Wise, faithful, great teacher. Taken by twolegs. Hawknettle is very happy to be back. She can now actually enjoy the rests of death. He is happy to be training Thistlepaw, and sees great potential in him.

Hawknettle has died, his spirit now roams.

This moon is spent mainly focused on studies. Thistlepaw spends the mornings and evenings hunting. Dandelionpaw spends the morning gathering herbs and supplies. In the evening he either studies in his den, or he gathers more herbs.

They spend noon high together keeping cool in camp. One such afternoon the find themselves having the following conversation.

Thistlepaw: We're still a clan, but we're not really Bud clan anymore. We should pick put a new name!

Dandelionpaw: True... How about... Flowerclan!

Thistlepaw, teasingly: Cause our names are flowers?

Dandelionpaw: No- because we're not just going to survivor. We're gonna bloom and thrive, like real flowers! *whisper* I hope..

Thistlepaw: Mmm.. I like that! Everyone who joins will HAAAVE to have a flower name of course.

Dandelionpaw: Stooop I already said it's not from our names!!

Thistlepaw: Oh come on, its the culture !

Despite their banter, both brothers do really like the name. Dandelionpaw loves what it represents- the hope to thrive instead of just survive. Thistlepaw likes that idea too, though he mainly likes it for respenting the clans people. Him, his brother, and Lilyglade of course- but also Hawknettle and Wisteriaclaw. They may not be with them, but if it weren't for their encouragement and help, the brothers would still be trapped.

Flower clan is no longer starving.

During the last week of month, Dandelionpaw does not see nor hear from Lilyglade at all. This causes him great distress.

Dandelionpaw interally: What if she left because I'm a bad appreciate? I can't tell Thistle it'll just make him worry...

Allegiance:

Dandelionpaw: Empathetic-> insecure, thoughtfull, ghost sight. Dandelionpaw is becoming increasingly insecure, especially in the wake of Lilyglade's absence. He believes he is falling behind his brother in terms of skill, and that he is a burden to those around him.

Thistlepaw: Daring, responsible, oddly observant. This has been a very good month for Thistlepaw. He is a naturally skilled hunter. Through his determination he has been able to provide a slight daily surplus in prey. He is worried about his brother, as he has noticed Dandi becoming more closed off.

Lilyglade: Compassionate, loving, beloved kitsitter. Medicine cat ancestor of Bud clan. ???

Lilyglade spends most of the moon guiding the kits to a good campsite she found on the territory. Thistlekit is slightly confused by it all, as he lacks his brohers ghost sight. However he trusts he brother, so he follows.

The kits survive off of bugs, plants, and a couple of naturally deceased animals that Lilyglade helps them find. It's not much. Thistlekit and Dandelionkit are starving.

When they arrive at camp, Lilyglade announces that they must be made appreciate's early. While not ideal, it is their only hope of survival.

Dandelionkit becomes Dandelionpaw, and is appreciated under Lilyglade as a medicine appreciate.

Dandelionpaw interally: What we really need is food not medicine... Maybe Lilyglade knows of herbs that could help Thistlepaw hunt?

Thistlekit becomes Thistlepaw. He has no mentor. He remembers some hunting moves he was taught back home by eager apprentices. He hopes this will be enough to get him started. Lilyglade offers to teach him the little battle moves she was taught once the food shortage is fixed.

Thistlepaw internally: I have to get us some food. As a warrior it's my duty to provide for Dandi! I have to...

Thistlepaw: Hey Dandelionpaw, I'm going out hunting, ok?

Dandelionpaw: Are you sure? Maybe it would be better if you rested?

Thistlepaw: *shakes head*

Dandelionpaw: Ok. Then I'm going to look moss. [Internally: Maybe I can also find some of those herbs Lilyglade mentioned..]

Thistlepaw: *nods leaving camp*

<Some time later>

Thistlepaw: Dandi *huff* I caught something!!

Both apprentices scurry out of medicine den. They share the rabbit Thistlepaw managed to catch coming out of it's den. While sharing prey, they talk about how their first days as apprentices went. Thistlepaw talks about the little tutoring he remembers. Dandelionpaw talks about how the plants they ate on their journey to the camp were actually travel herbs. Dandelionpaw was able to find some sorrel and enough moss for them to share a nest. They sleep in the medicine cat den.

Allegiances:

Dandelionpaw: Empathetic, thoughtfull, and ghost sight. He is a kind cat, however he has a growing insecurity that he is a burden to his brother. He is trying to squash that fear by reminding himself of how important medicine cats can be. He focuses his learning how helping his brother.

Thistlepaw: Daring, responsible, and oddly observant. He is willing to do whatever it takes to protect his brother, even if it means overworking himself. He does not see his brother as a burden. He focuses his learning on hunting entirely.

Lilyglade: Lilyglade: Compassionate, loving, beloved kitsitter. Medicine cat ancestor of Bud clan. She is doing what she can to help the kits. After Thistlepaw's first successful hunt, she is starting to feel real hope that the kits will survive.

Thistlekit and Dandelionkit, having run deep into the woods, fall asleep in a small rocky alcove. While asleep, Dandelionkit meets Lilyglade.

Lilyglade is a Star clan cat. She was Bud clans medicine cat many, many moons ago. When twolegs catknapped her living clan mates, she followed them. When the kittens escaped, she followed them knowing they would need her more.

She had come hoping to guide them home, however she realized they had been taken too far. So instead, she is determined to help the kits survivor in this new land!

Thistlekit: Daring, fearless. Lost Bud Clan kit.

Dandelionkit: Sweet, inquisitive, ghost sight. Lost Bud Clan kit.

Lilyglade: Compassionate, loving, beloved kitsitter. Medicine cat ancestor of Bud clan.

A little bonus moon to get stuff started! From now on there will only be one weekly update!

Twolegs came and took cats from Bud Clan and neighboring clans. From Bud Clan four cats where taken- Hawknettle, Wisteriaclaw, Thistlekit, and Dandelionkit.

At the urging of of their elders, Thistlekit finds a way to fit through the bars of their cage. Thistlekit and Dandelionkit are able to fit through, but Wisteriaclaw and Hawknettle are too large. They encourage the kits to run when the monster comes to a stop, hoping the kits can make it back home somehow.

They cannot.
