Think I'm going to be sick... #FirstFerryRide
Clarence felt very small at the Giants Causeway today. #RocksRock (at The Giant's Causeway)
Saw the real side of #Belfast this morning. It was hard to believe.
I've never felt more at home than in Belfast Botanic Gardens! I'm claiming the Palm House as mine! (at Botanic Gardens (Belfast))
Bus to Belfast! Be back soon, Dublin. (at Dublin City Center)
Things we need more of: #sleep and #coffee. And maybe money too... (at The Bald Barista at Avalon House)
Lovely view, shame for the weirdo we're sharing a room with... #ThePeopleYouMeet (at Kinlay House Christchurch)
I'm a double-decker riding madman! #Dublin #LetsGoDowntown (at Dublin)
Sup Boston. #WhyAllTheFrowns #BostonAirport (at Aer Lingus Terminal E Boston Logan International Airport)
Clarence will save us in case of an emergency! #GnomeToTheRescue
And we're off! With a flight cancellation, a redirected flight and a frustrated dad...we're ready to go! Here we come Montreal!
Only 6 Chapters...
Today I lost my brand-new book on languages...I had only gotten to chapter six. It's a sad day.
How Language Works...
Today I bought a book called "How Language Works" by David Crystal. I can't wait to crack this bad boy open and maybe learn some tricks on how to master the Polish, French, Russian, and German that I'm trying to learn...
Yesterday marked Day 2 of visiting g-ma. She's so adorable! We were even able to have a little conversation between us through a crude imitation of sign language and broken words. I left the house as stuffed as always, for today we had 4 different kinds of cakes and gołabki!
So begins another rainy day...! After having a (delicious) cinnamon roll yesterday and then drunk Polish try to teach me tongue twisters that they themselves couldn't say, the day begins anew! Sleeping in, watching a movie, and drinking copious amounts of tea is a pretty good start so far. Now to plan our trains/buses over to Prague and Vienna!
Language Crash Course...!
As of now I am currently residing in Poland, and dad and the family have decided to speak as little English to me as possible. It's been very frustrating especially since my father has never been the best teacher of Polish... But today I got a treat and got to watch the BBC World News...and it was in English! I was so thankful...
Resolution(s)
Today I acted one of my resolutions; start a photojournal. I'm not quite sure how well this will go see as hearing about work can only be heard so many times. But hey, why not?! I figure it's worth a try.
But now I have to start working on my other resolutions of saving more, quitting Einstein's, and finding a boyfriend. It's going to be a busy year.
