And America is actively taking measures to prevent diseases, stop drug trafficking, and create laws that encourage safe driving, specifically around seat belts and texting while driving.

Why can’t we actively take measures to prevent PEOPLE WITH GUNS from killing other people?

There should be no reason whatsoever for our country to ignore the fact that people are killing other people BY PULLING GUN TRIGGERS.
