this has been a wasp psa
At my work I usually stand and smoke right in front of where some wasps have made their summer home. I’m very much of the passive persuasion when it comes to them (I know they don’t want to be around me and I reciprocate it) but our interactions are like two really antisocial neighbors catching each other unexpectedly. The wasp will fly up to go home, see me then kind of hover and back up a bit in awkward suprise until I notice them and say “oh, sorry”. I get out of the way, they rush by to get inside. Then for some reason I feel bad?
