He’s played by a 30 year old (as are 2/3rds of his siblings) even though Jace wasn’t and in the books they’re the same age so you kind of have to assume all the greens were aged up 5+ years minimum. They shot themselves in the foot by aging down Alicent bc now they have someone who is also 30 playing the mother of three ~30 year olds who are clearly her peers, which looks weird and doesn’t really make chronological sense. With both casting and the way the characters are treated in the story (the amount of control parental figures have over them for ex) it’s clear the only greens who are actually kids are Daeron and Jaehaera

Saw your post about strength gap and remembered my thoughts on swimming!! Men typically are slightly faster than women and i was trying to think of why and....i think it's breasts. That would cause drag that men wouldn't have. So my answer:

Coed swimming and all men without breasts wear fake breasts to introduce more drag

Like recreationally or as a sport? This is entirely from a couple of articles I read abt Phelps and Ledecky a few months ago but with swimming what gives you advantage is shoulders and arms. Most competitive swimmers have a wingspan like an albatross (or an airplane if you’re phelps). Kids who start swimming as a sport super young do develop backs/shoulders ect differently and with girls they do tend to either naturally have flatter chests or develop flatter chests bc of of how their frame was modified by the activity while still growing. As with most sports I feel like they could just separate by height/weight classes instead of gender, someone with freakishly long arms or giant lungs is just gonna have a natural advantage regardless
