Maybe we feel empty because we leave pieces of ourselves in everything we used to love.

But it’s been interesting today to look back at all the shows that we’ve done these past three months on this tour and just kind of reflect and remember pieces of each one that we’ll always remember. And this is something I think exceeds the things that Tyler and I talked about when we first met and became friends. So, we’ll see what’s next.

When we were approached about covering My Chemical Romance’s ‘Cancer’, I was really excited about it. But I was also kind of nervous about changing something that felt right and was so simple. The one thing that stood out to me was the lyric 'I will not kiss you’. Its such a pure lyric because that persons talking about their family members, like their mum and their brothers. When I first heard the song that was the line that hit me the hardest and stayed with me. So that’s why I was excited to approach the song in a new way. It made me feel like I could highlight one of my favourite lyrics and then it became some kind of chorus, in a sense. Hopefully we did the song justice..
