@lothariobass-blog
I love the fact that I can make people happy, in any form. Even if it’s just an hour of their lives, if I can make them feel lucky or make them feel good, or bring a smile to a sour face, that to me is worthwhile.
Freddie Mercury (via thequotejournals)
This one was a feisty one, wasn’t he? What else could she really expect from one of the Bass offsprings? Luckily for him, however, something about his remarks amused her more than it could have annoyed her and in times like these, she could certainly use a little free entertainment. “Do you really think I’ve never encountered a guy like you before?” She laughed. “Your penises are all you guys want girls to think about. But you know what?” Stretching her heavy limbs languidly, Trinity slowly got to her feet again. “I wanna see that view from the building with my own eyes. All the moms and the fitness junkies and definitely the sales. And if you think you can try anything beyond that, you’ll get a kick in the balls and perhaps a little more,” she concluded with a bright smile. “If you look at it like that, I can only win so I’m all up for it.”
Vincent had learnt a great deal from his father on how to please people with things they couldn’t resist. While as a young man, his main aim was to never wake up in an empty bed; and to never be bored of the same face. Though one thing his father was hardly good at was being patient and letting the target lay themselves in front of him. Patience seemed to be a strong key from what he had discovered in his adventures so he always worked with that. “Of course not but I do know you’ve never been encountered by a Bass guy before. Cause I think even you would know we have a lot more to offer than just our penises,” Vincent winked, fully confident about that statement since it was quite true. Someone like Vincent could give a person wealth, recognition along with the pleasure. Not to mention if they got real close to their hearts, they could get good business. Which of course made him and his siblings highly likely to harbour fake friends. “Wouldn’t even dream of going against your consent, my sweet,” He exaggerated the statement but the general idea was there. He wouldn’t force himself on her, names of girls he won’t remember but how he treated them, he will. He might be similar to his father but not exactly like him. Vincent couldn’t help but smirk at her words as they made their way to his Bentley.
( ♣ — PEVARA ONCE AGAIN rolled her eyes, sighing loudly to remind him how he absolutely was overstaying his welcome, annoying the hell out of her as she tried to get her work done. “i’m not your sweetheart, bass. don’t call me that.” she said sternly, shooting him a dead glare before looking back down on her book. however, she was out of luck because he didn’t seem to be in the mood for giving up today. “but if you know they want more out of it, why do you continue, vincent ?” she asked, narrowing her eyes a bit as she shook her head, not understanding. when he continued his explanation, she just looked up at the ceiling and sighed again. “right. well, let’s get this clear, little vince, i’m not even going to start with this discussion, so basically i’m back to nothing. because that’s where it started.”.
“Hey you didn’t like honey so I improvised,” Vincent shrugged, offering her a cheeky toothless smile to answer for her glare. “I don’t... well… depends on the context of the relationship really,” He knew in his heart and mind that nothing the girl would say would affect him in any deep way possible since it was all the same. The names, the tantrum, he had heard it all before. Unless Vincent hurt this girl in some shape and form then he might understand the hate but right now she was just another mouth blabbing on about how bad he was. “You… kinda did start this discussion. I for one had an interesting topic about the possible happenings of the afterlife… until you pooped the party thought. That’s where it started. So, tell me, little one, what’s your statistic?” He asked casually as if Pervara didn’t just have a tantrum a few minutes ago.
“That might be the most curious thing I’ve heard today.” Teddy said mulling it over. “Who knows? I certainly hope we don’t just rot in the ground and this is it, I mean it’s been nice and all, but it’s a bit depressing to think that this is all we’ve got when babies die everyday. Like how is that fair?” She shook her head laughing. “Do I even wanna know what you mean by that? I’m sure that second statistic was pretty high, but tmi much?”
“That’s me. Keeping things interesting as always,” Vincent offered her a charming grin. “Just give me a place with booze, girls, good music and luxury and I’m all set for the afterlife,” He mused with a chuckle. “It is, that’s why it’s important to know how much otherwise what’s the point of not having a number and giving the big guy and good old high five for my great achievement. That’s where all the fun is. Well…. Besides the actual deed, of course,” He smirked.
Henry shook his head, not in the mood for his brother’s antics. He hated that Vincent didn’t have the weight of the world on his shoulders like he certainly felt he did. “Is that what you think of me? That I’m such a bore that I wouldn’t sex?” He inquired, “If you’re bored, why not go find a playmate of some sort?”
“Well yeah that and also I’d like not to think of my older brother having sex for my own psychological health… don’t you think so too?” Vincent offered a tight, nervous smile. “Because we hardly ever talk anymore… and I just came back from a playmate so I’m a little out of it,” He shrugged as he relaxed into the hard surface of the bench. “Come on, you can’t have absolutely nothing interesting to tell me,”
“s h o u t o u t to the young woman that i came in contact with today while shopping at VICTORIA SECRET; she, very kindly, reminded me that i don’t need a significant other as long as i own a shower head. “ carefully, kida brushed her free hand through her blonde hair, probably thinking too much about what the female had told her before humming satisfactorily. wedged in the other hand was a bottle of peach schnapps, of which she’d been absentmindedly sipping on. “i don’t know, sometimes i feel like some people are put in this world to bring words of inspiration and spread positive energy, y’know, and she was definitely one of those people.” after taking another sip of the drink in hand, the blonde offered the bottle to the person she’d been speaking to. “want some? there’s plenty to go around, i’m sure.”
“Whoever told you that is a blessing to the world because it gives my wild imagination a little adventure,” No filters with Vincent especially in one of his favourite places. The club. A smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he faced the blonde girl, sitting next to her on a stool. The few whiskeys were still rushing in his head but he opted to order another one and take a generous sip. “I agree. It’s not everyday people would suggest something like that. They should be greatly complimented by their words in inspiration,” Vincent mused with a large cheeky grin before taking a few more generous sips. At the girl’s offer, he shook his head. “Not a schnapps person go crazy, lovely,” He raised his glass of whiskey as a form of toast. “So what other words of inspiration have you heard so far? I’ve gotten a bit curious now,”
☂ — “YOU’RE RIGHT,” she let a chuckle pass through her lips. “You have too many crazies in your life. Don’t know how you made it to your eighteenth birthday.” Pulling a lip-gloss from her bag, Jaelyn applied a thin layer to her lips before speaking again. “Extra cash is always a good thing, bub. No matter who you are. And now that I think about it, selling my body might actually be a great idea. I mean, look at me.”
“I don’t know either honestly. I barely made it in my birthday itself. Both Lorrie and Susan came to it… it was messy,” Vincent shrugged knowing if he ever died unexpectedly, there would be a long line of people to look for with the things he had done to them. “Well I…” His brows furrowed. “Did you just call me bub?” He let out a small chuckle. “Yeah I’d rather not comment on that. I can be a big pervert but that’s too far-fetched for me. Just… don’t sell your body in the clubs I’m in, yeah?” The lad mused along with his nose scrunched. “Don’t want people recognising you or me together,”
( ♣ — “ MORE LIKE NO breakfast at all… “ pevara mused as she kept her eyes fixed on her book. though when she heard him call her honey, she narrowed her eyes softly and slowly moved her head up to face him. “first of all, bass, you wish i were your honey. but i’m not, so don’t call me that.” she said, icy calm as usual. “and secondly, no, i don’t need a hug. and especially not from you.”. she was pretty convinced the both of them already saw that answer coming… but still, she liked to remind him of it once more. “that is because idiots like you make them believe they’re worth nothing more than just a quick fuck.” she mumbled, averting her eyes back to her book.
Vincent’s smirk never faded from his lips at her words because it had almost been routine. A girl got mad at him, said nasty things to him, maybe a kick in the balls for added measure. But even the worst paybacks didn’t change him unfortunately. Or spark some sort of light in his head. Maybe in the future but he was young now. When better to make mistakes. “As you wish, sweetheart,” He continuously teased finding himself some entertainment in Pervara’s frustration. “Ah see that’s where your views blunder a tad. Majority of the girls that I sleep with want nothing but a quick fuck. Also, some girls who know exactly what I’m like should know better than to meddle with me but they still do and then when I do… exactly what I do all the time, they seem to act surprised,” He shrugged with a pout as his brows furrowed a little. “Why you ask? Because they seem to have this mind-set that they’re angelic personalities are going to somehow lighten up my dark, dark world. They should know I have enough money to shine that light for me anyway,” Vincent’s brows raised slightly letting his smirk softly ghost over his lips. “So… now you’re back to Square One, little Vara,”
( ♦ — VINCENT WAS SOMETHING alright, but it’s not like diem didn’t know that. still she didn’t mind hanging out with him – well, most of the times she didn’t. vince was good company, and frankly, he’d been there for when many others hadn’t. maybe not in the ‘hey, i’m here to listen and give advice’ kind of way, but she could cry on his shoulder and they’d both sit in silence for as long as she needed to… and usually, it ended up in bed. but once again, that’s not something diem complained about. vincent was a distraction to take her mind off of things in the most fun and calorie-burning way possible. “oh – i thought you had other specialties.” the blonde remarked as they kept walking side by side, a devious grin on her face for a few seconds as she looked at him sideways before fixing her eyes back on the pavement, relaxing the muscles in her face again. “i’ve been wondering why it’s so quiet… i must admit – and you know i hate to do this – that i have been hoping you’d call. but as you say – this’ll have to do.” diem replied, shrugging before throwing him a quick smile. “oh, don’t be so full of yourself, vincent… “ she retorted, but they both knew she’d missed him. even if it were just a little bit. and she sure as hell had missed not sleeping alone.
Pushing the door open to Starbucks, Vincent waited for Diem to walk in before he did. It had become a habit these little things with other girls sometimes he didn’t even think of it---but girls still seemed to like it every single time so why not keep with some good habits that work? He couldn’t help but chuckle at her comment. “You would know more than anyone else honestly,” There were times where he wanted to settle with maybe telling Diem about why he had been distancing himself lately but the voice in his head that kept him from revealing anything too personal to someone he had this kind of relationship with kept his tongue clipped. They were friends and they had fun but this was too much even for them. “Well if it helps I’ll let you know and give you a few good nights right before I have to go for something important,” Vincent shot her a wink before facing the counter as they ordered each other’s drinks before standing in the waiting line. The employees had roughly recognised the two of them anyway which he had noticed in the enhanced speed of giving them their orders. “Okay, maybe a shrine is much… but you missed me, don’t deny yourself, my sweet. Otherwise why would you hope I’d call, hm?” He teased. Something he was best at really.

rhys glanced up from their nearly finished math homework, a small amount of annoyance fluttering through them for being interrupted. although, they would never let that show on their soft face. “I’m sure you get to see something. but considering it’s heaven and all that, I’m sure its more good deeds than anything.” rhys brought their legs to their chest, a little cramped in the small school chair, but they made it work. “that one night? do I even want to know?”
“Making girls feel good is kind of a good deed, isn’t it? I mean.. definitely felt like fucking heaven,” Vincent chuckled, a cheeky grin tugged at the corners of his lips proudly. There wasn’t much filter involved to how confident he was about his own antics. It wasn’t like he forced anyone into it. “I’d love to give you the details if you do want to know cause I remember it like it was yesterday. Probably cause it may have been yesterday, I never keep count. This is why I need statistics,” He joked.
Hey if you were normal, I wouldn’t be hanging out with you right now. NEPHTHYS nodded and looked at Vincent, happy that he didn’t seem to mind her weirdness and that he was actually encouraging it even. It’s good though. Being weird and stuff, I reckon it takes a lot of self respect and all that. I can’t imagine the girls I know being openly strange honestly. “Do half the girls you hang out with, or know, even have a brain?” Nephthys asked and raised an eyebrow at Vincent, the smirk on her lips widened a little as a giggle left her lips.
“I would get into a lot of trouble if I said yes. But honestly a lot of them were smart and I can tell that cause they decided not to meddle with my antics too much,” Vincent chuckled. There were some other girls who had fallen for him a little too much to understand that he wasn’t looking for something serious but he wasn’t going to meddle in it any longer. “I guess some people just like being normal or aren’t as brave as you in being weird, who knows,”
