22 - Berlin - 3rd year of law school - bar exam prep

{28/11/2022} - 139 days until

It’s crazy how time flew by and now there are only 139 days left until my first bar exam. I feel anxious and not prepared but worrying too much won’t help.

This morning I went to the gym, got ready and spent the day preparing a meeting with my study group. I also repeated some family law and started to use Babbel again to prepare for my Master in Paris.

[09/04/2021] Sunset at Grand Canyon National Park

Study set up for tonight, tomorrow and Sunday! I have to finish my paper and then my last regular semester starts on Monday. I am really excited but first I probably have to pull an all-nighter to motivate myself to finish this paper!

I finished my third semester of law school - two more weeks and I will be in my last regular semester at my university in Berlin.

But as you might know semester break always means it‘s paper time! I will probably work on that the next few days then take some time off for my family and submit it on the last day possible - as always!

Guys, I am back! The last weeks were super exciting. I moved into my own appartement and I love it!

Besides moving I spent most of my time with my family enjoying the Christmas time.

Now I am using the last days of the year to finish my paper about Humanitarian Interventions and the Responsibility to Protect!

[04/11/2020] 49 Days until Christmas!

Another day at work without time to study for college! Nevertheless I was super productive and finally solved some problems we had for a while now!

After work I used the commercial breaks of Grey’s Anatomy to sort through some stationary. Since I am moving so soon I really have to organize and box my stuff!

I also got admitted to the language course I applied for. I am sooo excited!

Productive things I did today: went to work, paid my language course admission, sorted through some stationary!

[03/11/2020] 50 days until Christmas!

Since I couldn’t work last week because of my exams there was a huge pile on my desk today! Thankfully there was nothing too bad in it and I just had to work down the tasks. I worked super late though which is why you only get a pic of the seats on my train today.

Productive things I did today: went to work, ordered some stuff for my mom’s birthday, discussed some college options with my sister, brought back books to the library

[02/11/2020] - 51 days until Christmas!

Guys, I am finally done with my exams!!!

I finished the last one on Thursday and took the last days off to spend time with family and friends.

The new semester starts tomorrow and I decided that I want to join the #daysuntilchristmas productivity challenge. For me, productivity does not only include study related tasks but also things I did to take care of myself!

Productive things I did today: dentist appointment, updated all my software, went through the college related docs on my laptop and organized them, cleaned out my study apps and went on a walk with my dad!

[23/10/2020] - Cherish your small accomplishments!

Guys, I had my first exam this week! The exam on public law was the least scary one and it actually went pretty well! Now I am preparing for criminal and civil law next week. Those are so much more work and I am a little nervous!

The stress is really taking a toll on my health but I promise that I will pamper myself as soon as this is all over (exactly one week to go!!!). By the time next week I will hopefully celebrate the end of the semester and finally have time to pack for my move!

Also my fave singer dropped some music this morning and I am so in love with one of the songs that nothing can unhinge me today!!!

[12/10/2020] - Little by little, day by day, what’s meant for you will find its way!

Quick update: I submitted my paper the day it was due! I am super dissatisfied with how it turned out. But it doesn’t matter now. I‘ll probably don’t get the results until the end of November!

The next step is preparing for my exams! I am confident with my knowledge in public law and I am working on civil and criminal law. Fingers crossed that I will be ready with the preparation just in time for my exams in less than two weeks!

[24/09/2020] - You must improvise, adapt and overcome!

I am finishing up on the last few tasks for my paper - 6 days until it’s due! Even though it didn’t work out according to my plan, I still hope that I can submit the paper on time and pass it!

Can’t wait to finally be done with the paper and the exams in October! Halloween is gonna be sooo good! It’s also my only free day between my exams and the beginning of the new semester!

[07/09/2020] - When in doubt go to the library!

Finally back at the library! I got up super early today to get a good seat by the window. I really wanna finish my paper soon and the library helps so much with my concentration! Around noon a friend of mine comes over for lunch and then I hope to study for another few hours.

[06/09/2020] - You will never stumble onto success, you will work for it!

My exam season starts in 44 days and I am slightly stressing myself out about that! I made a plan and divided every subject into topics I have to revise. According to that I would be done with revision by the end of September and could use the rest of October to practice old exams. Wish my luck that my plan works out!

[27/08/2020] - Tidy desk, tidy mind!

I decided to mix up my work space today. After having online lectures all semester, I feel like I get distracted so easily at my own desk. That’s why I occupied my dad‘s office today (Sorry, not sorry, dad!).

[25/08/2020] - It’s okay to ask for help!

Guys, I am finally getting over my lack of motivation. I have to admit that I was just overwhelmed with the amount of work. This weekend I finally had the courage to ask a close friend for help and we talked about all of my problems with the paper. Now I just have to sit down and write it out!

[15/08/2020] - Small steps each day!

I actually worked on my paper today. I didn’t do a lot but even just starting felt like a huge accomplishment! Hopefully tomorrow will be another step in the right direction!
