2022 - The Thirteenth Doctor
Guess who got into Doctor who? It’s me. And who am I to neglect a character so conflicted around their own identity, history, and life? Life, death, love and loss; nectar of the gods if you ask me.

2021 - Nihlith in Action (Finally!)
This year I finally got to use a character of mine that I came up with years ago: Nihlith, the Paladin of Anubis, sworn to an oath of Vengeance. After a cool moment where she dashed forward out of a cloud of steam and smoke to make short work of a couple of kobolds (we all have to start somewhere) I quickly threw together this sketch to commemorate her official debut.
The Game of Ur (2022)
As a wrap-up gift for our friends and contributors, the Past-at-Play lab (that includes me) have whipped up a couple of stylised print-out versions of the game we have spent the last two years researching. While it is officially called ‘royal,’ we know that literally everybody played this game 5,000 years ago, so we’re simply calling it The Game of Ur, or The Game of 20 Squares. (Now available in naval, seasonal, and research skins!)

Turning Tides™ (2022)
This year the board game I have been honoured to be the primary artist for finally launched and was shipped from Kickstarter! For this project, I was responsible for all art: the box art, playing cards (front and back), the board (ship), and logo for the game.
It has been great fun working with Never Be Boardgames!

D&D still lives. This time it’s a character of my own: Halla ‘Stonemolder’ Asgolf, the goliath warlock to the Fey Winter Queen and soon-to-be-fighter. She has wild ambitions to smith weapons of legend. Maybe one day...
2018 - Of Tales Untold (D&D)
At last and for the first time, I will be running a Dungeons & Dragons campaign for three of my friends. Depicted here are their characters, because that’s how they come alive: Uchafu the earth genasi (tiefling) Druid Noah the wood elf Monk Korinne the blue dragonborn Cleric
Here’s to hoping they live and play well!
Gosh, I wish I were better at keeping a logbook...
2017
These were all three characters for a campaign of Dragon Age tabletop game that I was a part of in 2017. Marie was a human fighter of my own, the elvish rogue Limbes and Senna the human mage were other player characters. Althought the latter two lack signatures and dates, all three were created during May and July of 2017
2016 - Memento Vitam
Earlier, I mentioned the existence of Skill Trees for the rpg I am working on. These are them. As you might expect, whenever a player earns a skill point, they may spend that skill point on one of these skill trees. One point can unlock one new skill and you may only unlock abilities which ‘root’ has already been claimed. Some of these skills simply add value to the stats of your trainer, some unlock new skills entirely, and some build on already existing skills but allow you to perfect them. Only precious few skill points are awarded and their rarity paired with the many paths you can take allows for near infinite possibilities for character development.
2016 - Memento Vitam
This is the world map created for Memento Vitam. I created several versions; one showing only the altitude of the land, another with added forests (dark green for pines and other hardy trees), a third with the area grid and finally the ‘official’ world map including Region Names.
Each region used to have its own culture in addition to its unique environment before the outbreak. Vivlandr, for example, consists nearly entirely of tundra, whereas Jomen is a swamp-like region and Cilahi a desert. As a result, both pokémon and loot differ depending on the area you’re in. Duramal will be filled to the brim with rock and ground types as the mountain region, Tavakhar with grass and bug types since it is a forest.
2016 - Memento Vitam
Aside from fun drawings for the sake of drawing, I have also worked on a project of my own called Memento Vitam. This is a role-playing game that is currently still under construction. It combines two popular franchises into one: pokémon and something akin to a zombie outbreak. The idea is that you as a player create a trainer and survive the feral humans and pokémon with the help of both your own pokémon and whatever items you can scavenge to create armour, weapons, potions and possibly traps. Above, you will find four graphics for this project. Clicking on the images will enlarge them and tell you what the logo is for.
I particularly liked the idea of combining these two universes for the vast amount of options they offer the player. First, there is of course the choice of which pokémon you bring. All pokémon have types and each type has its own type effect in addition to its already existing advantages and weaknesses over other types. There are different types of weapons and armour to craft and choices to make there; do you choose something powerful but hard to use or something weaker but much lighter, keeping agility that you would otherwise lose? In addition to this there are the Skill Trees, where you must decide if you turn your crafting skill to boost potions to heal with, the strength of your armour/weapon or to unlock new traps. It would be a true survival game, full of choices to make that may just end in your pokémon’s or even your own demise. A game where your choices have real consequences, albeit to your own story.

Design for my own monster: the Kali Asra (a combination of kali: 'the dark one', and asra: 'travel at night'). This is a monster capable of traveling to a mirror world through the shadows. Shadows are portals to the Kali Asra and when it is traveling in the shadow world, it is only visible 'through’ the shadows it passes by; its eyes and glowing gems that give the monster its power shining through the darkness. Whereas the Kali Asra can be seen through the shadows, others cannot follow it into the shadow realm unless carried.
