I feel like I should note that they're not actually that dirty. They don't smell. They're not stained and they just look a liiiiittle bit generally more gray than from the box. I wouldn't eat off of them but they're much less dirty than, say, a backpack.

the thing about being a beginner in any type of art form (music, writing, drawing, etc) is that all the advice the pros give is "idk man just feel it out! does it feel right? then do it!"

and youre just sitting there, confused

does it feel right? how do you tell?

or you try a hundred things and none of them feel right

and then you get like a little more advanced in that sort of art and someone asks you "how do you make good ___???" and you go "idk man just feel it out! does it feel right? then do it!"
