ivan you are soooo loved you don't even know

this last clip was all i wanted from the beginning. It was so beautiful to see lovro taking care of ivan, bringing him home without even caring about being seen by his mother (yes his mom didn't see anything but he just wanted to get ivan settled and they will have a conversation late). It also made me emotional to see him so open about his feelings and then him kissing ivan on the forehead like ivan usually does with him😭😭)

The problem is that unfortunately, like ivan, i do wonder what he likes about him because we haven't seen much of them spending time together (most of the times they were fighting or they would meet for like 2 minutes and they wouldn't even text which would have shown them getting closer), and I'm tired of people justifying it with well this is a homophobic country things are more difficult you can't do the things you would do in other remakes because it's not realistic. It's a stupid argument because while we can in fact be realistic and shows the difficulties of being gay in an homophobic country, we also have to imagine that the world can be better, especially because I didn't even expect them to have sex (i don't actually care about it tbh) i just wanted to see them having more nice moments together instead of having them suffer through most of the last episodes .

idk if i'm making sense i'm just upset with what they did with some of the clips which were used to reiterate the same point over and over again without actually giving us anything positive because "well it wouldn't be realistic.

mi dispiace tantissimo per lovro perché per quanto si sforzi di sentirsi a suo agio con se stesso e la sua sessualità non ci riesce :(( la cosa peggiore è che ivan non lo ascolta per via del manic episode e non riescono ad avere una conversazione seria sull'argomento senza litigare.

Ora però vi scongiuro risolviamo la questione in fretta perché li voglio vedere FELICI like this is almost worse than wtfock

This clip made me cry so much bc it shows so much growth from lovro :( Despite the awful experience he just had with filip, he still had the courage to tell his mom even tho he knew it could have gone just as bad. Also i am so proud of him for standing his ground when his mother told him "maybe you'll end up changing your mind", bc he now knows that it doesn't work like that bc that's who he is

Lovro is so funny like he daydreams about riding that damn motorcycle with Ivan into the sunset at least four times a day, everyone could be making fun of them but he listens to the sound of a motorcycle and his heartbeat just skips several beats because he is romantic like that

The scene of them driving off into the night was so cute, but if the first clip of ep 8 is not them together in the morning (don't think we're gonna get one tonight??) i'm gonna crash out. I can understand needing to go slow and cutting some more intimate scenes between them because lovro is still struggling with himself etc but if we don't see them waking up together or even just them talking then what are we doinggg. are we gonna get a clip a two days after this? then when are they gonna talk?

I was already a bit disappointed with the way they were building their relationship since they cut so many scenes of them talking and bonding (like the cuddle scene, which didn't even need to be an intimate scene but it was important cause it showed that even and isak were getting to know each other more). This makes it difficult for me to like understand why they like each other so much if they barely talk...

the way i started crying here😀....i'm sooo glad we changed it up a bit with lovro asking him that bc yeah to jakov it's not a big deal, that's his best friend and he will never stop loving and supporting him, but lovro spent so much time hating himself and he was 100% convinced that all his friends would be disgusted by him if they found out, so he really needed to hear him say that💌

anyway were they implying that ema is queer or am i misinterpreting what she meant when she said "i get you and i get it's not easy for you right now" (or is it the translation and the original line is different)?

this last clip made so emotional :(( i like the fact that ema went to him and apologized for being a bit too harsh (because she was!!!!) despite being understandably angry, and gave lovro the space to talk a bit about how he's feeling without necessarily exusing his behaviour towards her (i feel like that with some scenes they're taking inspiration from druck, which i love bc i think it's the best remake)
