i love joel and grian’s dynamic so much. they’re both just… poke at other person. similar slightly sarcastic sense of humor. they’re like. the same chaos but in two different flavors. chaos and shiny chaos. grian is a little more silly, joel is a little more sarcastic, and they bounce off of each other so well, i love it, 100 hours makes me so happy their dynamic is so much fun

so one of my favorite headcanons is that the hermits, and in this case empires members, etc are all REALLY casual about death. like oh no big deal! you die? you just respawn, easy. i mean the hermits make constant death games for fun!

this is all really funny in the context if harbinger Jimmy. all his friends KNOW he's the herald of death, but like, does it really matter? How much different is it to a death game or playing with some TNT. Jimmy trips over something and dies and they just shrug and put his stuff in a chest. Something inconvenient happens and they nag him to help him fix it since he's most likely the cause. they tease him for causing problems and he just gets flustered. he accidentally brings the end of the server and they're like "whatever it was time for season 2 anyway"

idk I just think the concept of the literal omen of death being friends with everyone who's both chill enough and powerful enough to just shrug whatever he causes off is really fun. they're just like "yea thats Jimmy he does that sometimes <3"

i saw!! ive been so excited, im so glad he seemed to like it :D

also those videos feel so special because I actually already saw most of those places, we spent so much time just flying about visiting each other’s empires on the server and it felt like a real little community. id see jimmy visit the places id been hanging out and im like yo!! friends!! my neighbours!!! it made me very happy
