It began about a month ago. You brought Chika out to the neighbourhood park for a slow walk where they just chat or enjoy each other’s presence with their hands intertwined. On the third day of their naturistic and relaxing date, Chika and You were invited to play with the children on the playgrounds, the two fellow fun advocates couldn’t say no so they ended up running and working up a sweat like they were twenty years younger.

Today, however, You decided to sit by the bench to watch over Chika playing tag with the kids at the playground. She kind of noticed on the fifth day that the orangehead’s laughter has a way of tugging at her heart and making her look which of course, results in the athlete to be caught by one of the children in their little game of tag. You wanted a silent moment or two to ponder about her growing feelings for Chika once again.

Chika waves at You from the top of the slide. “You sure you don’t want to join us, You-chan~?”

The ash-brunette smiles and returns the wave. “Nah, run wild, Chika-chan.”

Upon making this blog I had intended for it to be a community-run sort of thing, and I just supply the space for it all to happen - meaning, I wanted it to be a medium for content consumers and producers to share ideas. The beginning prompts by me were mainly to get the ball rolling and get the blog’s name out there - I’m running out of ideas! XD

Butterflies of various colours and sizes flutter and flew all about the park and a wide-eyed middle school first-year gingerhead was turning all about, jaw agape in amazement.

“Uwa~ Uwa~ Kotori-chan! Do you see all the butterflies? They are so prettyyyyy!” The gingerhead started running and jumping about, hands trying to catch a butterfly.

Kotori jogs to catch up to her best friend, hands worrying in front of her chest. “H-Honoka-chan…If you run around like that…Be careful not to fall…”

Honoka runs back the worrying ash-brunette with a determined smile. “I wanna catch a butterfly! Let’s catch one together, Kotori-chan~”

Catching and collecting as many cherry blossom petals as you can within a time limit has always been a game Chika and You played with each other since they were small. Just collecting a bunch makes them happy when they first started, over time, rewards were attached to this little game of theirs - such as getting treated by the other. 

Now that Chika and You has begun dating, Chika cheekily grins as she reinvents the game - the one who collects the most petals get a kiss from the loser. 

You shakes her head as she looked away from Chika’s lips. “You sure..?" 

Chika laughs. "Of course! I’m sure I’m gonna win this after all.”
