The Walking Dead to conclude with expanded two-year 11th season, followed by spin-off focused on Daryl and Carol With the previously announced six extra Season 10 episodes scheduled for early next year, there are 30 remaining episodes of the series that will run through late 2022. The spin-off focused on Daryl and Carol will premiere in 2023.

My worst loss was Tyreese, only he and Daryl are my true faves. Glenn was bad too, I didn’t see it coming whereas his fake death I knew was fake; I just knew they wouldn’t off him with so little ceremony and then all the intrigue afterwards... I had their number. To be fair I was really gutted about Shiva the tiger, I was depressed for about 2 days after that; to be taken out by a bunch of skanky ass melted salamander-looking walkers too? Not cool... I suppose their cgi budget just ran out...

Tyreese’s death was pretty epic. I very much liked that episode. Sad but a good way to go, I'd say.

Glenn was a big blow to me. I loved him, I knew it was meant to happen once Negan was introduced but I didn’t want it to happen (even though if it hadn’t been Glenn, then I would’ve been pissed as fuck).

Shiva is definitely the worst. Haven’t seen it yet...  I’ve stopped watching long ago but I knew because of the comics. I think that tiger deserved better than many other characters, in my humble opinion. Though I completely agree, cgi... not the best.

It’s weird because I always thought that Carl couldn’t die, but then I think about the real life thing and he’s been in the show since he was like a really little boy so he probably needed out. Plus he was mad annoying, with the hat and the eye and getting shot like a lot, he’s been like a drama pin cushion for too long. Basically someone needed to die I guess... that’s kind of how they keep us all interested and the team needed another player one who was really useful (er like a doctor)

I thought the same thing, specially since he was most likely the future of The Walking Dead… because Rick was eventually going to die/leave. I do agree that he was sort of annoying, but he was a kid after all. And later on a teenager. But despite the fact that I used to find him incredibly annoying at times, his death was BY FAR the lamest of them all. I’ve talked about this already I believe but it pisses me off still. 

And yeah… the “someone needed to die” is just an overused plot at this point. Of course, people are going to die but ugh it gets old pretty quick. Again, I get it, I know my faves are going to die eventually, it just doesn’t need to be the centre of the episode imo.

Wait, "glenn's fake death"? I didn't watch the latest episode because bullshit did i miss something? Is glenn still somehow alive?

Oh sorry, Glenn's "fake death" is the thing that happened back in Season 6 when we all thought he had been eaten by walkers after his fight with Nicholas but survived by hiding under a trash container, I believe.

Glenn's fake death was the saddest death for me. I thought the writers were killing Glenn early so Negan's kill would be surprising. The fake death got me the most.

Honestly, the fake death infuriated me. I thought that if he was indeed dead, it would be treating poorly one of the most important characters of the show. To me, it just had to be Negan.

Honestly, and forgive me for my bluntness, I believe Carl's death was suuuppeerr cliche and a stupid way to progress the storyline. I know if I died for everyone else's "motivation" to fix everything, I'd come back as a zombie and single handedly bite EVERYONE.

I KNOW RIGHT. The episode was way too long and boring, he seemed to be fine the whole day and then he spent the night dying and giving speeches about motivation and the future. Not really how he should’ve gone.

What about Beth? I cry every time I see it. But what bugs me is that they made her going out looking stupid.

i personally was more upset by carl’s death than glenn’s. the one that hit me the hardest was herschel

OH GOD, YES. Poor Hershel, but the whole episode was a big mess. And I do agree about being more upset with Carl’s death. Glenn’s was obvious, yet it hit me hard.

Honestly, I didn’t want it to happen. I’m a big fan of the comics and I’m aware both things are different but I was excited for some things that might happen in the near future. Anyway, I’m curious about your answers. Did you dislike him and don’t care at all? Are you still sad about it? Maybe angry or disappointed?
