“SYBYR” by Sybyr

It’s a certain type of figure that does more for for art as a whole than just about anybody else. These type of people are, 1. unabashedly creative, never compromising their art for broader appeal or a chance at larger profits, and 2. generous, giving of their platform to other creatives so that this artistic seed may spread. I’d say it’s only three people that really fit this description in the Soundcloud scene, the first two obviously being SpaceGhostPurrp & Bones, and the third being the underappreciated Sybyr. Sybyr & his Antiwxrld movement are valuable beyond recognition. Bones & SGP did a great job allowing independent internet hip-hop to flourish to the point it’s at right now, but Sybyr’s one of the only current artists holding it down, and opening up lanes for future creators.
