Already so bored of seeing people saying “ooh, there’s Naomi Smalls.. oh and Naomi Smalls.. oh there’s another Courtney Act!” like cmon, drag doesn’t just exist on drag race, don’t disregard a queen just because they look similar to a queen on an earlier season.

Fucking really tho, my original drag mother Cassidy is the first Polynesian queen I’ve ever met who does traditional Polynesian numbers, my other drag mother Lady O was the first queen I had met who shaved her head, and my drag mom @xanadurocketship is the first kawaii bioqueen I’ve ever met. This would be like me seeing another bald queen and be like “oh, look, another Lady O” another Polynesian queen and being like “oh look, another Cassidy” or seeing a kawaii queen and being like “oh, look, another Xanadu.” 

My point being, there are more queens than just the queens who have been on drag race, and while I love the show and everything it’s done to draw a spotlight to drag queens it’s also made a lot of people narrow minded. Drag is a form of art, it’s like telling someone “oh, your painting reminds me of a Van Gogh” while it may sound flattering in your head it might not be received like that from the person you’re saying it to; have some respect, let people enjoy things.
