hi guys! my name is gwen, i'm a 21 year old nonbinary aroace lesbian, and i'm a fanfic writer on ao3! i mainly write minecraft diaries (and a bit of mystreet) fics! some things about me are that i REALLY love chad, ivy, and laurance. not to mention i'm obsessed with the megamind franchise! i am critical of minecraft diaries and VERY critical of mystreet. i like to discuss critiques and ideas with others about the series, so please feel free to spark up a conversation!

for fic requests, i have permanently closed them! i will not be opening them at all in the near future, but i will be keeping up all my requested works that i've posted under my masterlist! (but do keep in mind that i have very much outgrown that writing style and i'm not the biggest fan of them now. you'd have to hold me at gunpoint for me to even consider re-reading them)!

my main longterm fics are posted on my ao3, which you can find linked below, as well as my twitter account! i mainly use twitter, so if you need to reach out immediately, that would be the best place! this account is mainly for updates on my fics, so i don't tend to post on here too often!

good news for all of you except for me, marvel rivals anti-cheat is apparently broken so that means i can't play the game unless i want to derank.

which means i have nothing holding me back from writing. but i am getting withdrawls i need to play. 💔

hopefully i'll continue working on it in the morning so i can get it out at the start of june.

since i currently remain unemployed for the summer (this job market is ass), i have given myself the goal of 1k words MINIMUM a day!

this will hopefully get me on track to getting chapters out a lot quicker, and also gives a schedule for my easily distracted adhd mind to latch on to (hopefully).

1k is already done for this one from today, and if this goes well it should be posted by early june, with more time to work on chapter 10 for the end of june!

so. if you can't tell, the chapter wasn't posted in march like planned. i'm trying to catch up on that, but i'm currently finishing my finals this week so...

within the next few weeks i should HOPEFULLY (i say this with a grain of salt) post this chapter. i'm trying to work on a few of the chapters in bunches so i can finish the fic before september! so that means a lot of unfinished work in several chapters and just jumping around.

i kinda hope by then i will have it done so i can go into a new fandom and hopefully write for a new pairing (by august this year this fic will somehow be 2 years old and that is terrifying).

i wanted to work on & release the new chapter by the end of this month but idk if i can unless it works 💔

in EXTREMELY important news, i have officially finished mapping out the plot for the rest of in my dreams.

and with that, i am here to announce there will not be 12 chapters, but instead 14! i feel this will pace it a lot better and allow me to end it on a better note with more time!

chapter 8 will hopefully be coming out sometime this month, so i hope to post it soon! all i can say about this chapter is that it's probably the last peaceful chapter before misery happens in basically every chapter. i'm still aiming to finish this before the end of the year, with the (hopeful) goal of releasing a chapter every month!

i'm so motivated to start pushing out more chapters now. finally i can actually write them together now that the tension is over 😭

since google docs uses documents to train AI, i've been spending today moving over all my old writing to ellipsus. they just added a way to import downloaded google doc files and keep the format the same!

highly recommend you guys do the same if you use google docs to write! ellipsus has made their stance on AI clear, and your writing is safeguarded by their system. you can change the background colors and font colors of the site and organize everything in folders! it's so good 😭
