Here is the information I can give everyone for now for FFXIV Rapier;

Name: Nessie "Rapier" Rhapsodos

Age: 26/27

Hair: Originally all black, but gained a white from absorbing the Light Wardens.

Eyes: One Black (happened because of fight with Endsinger and Zenos), one blue (natural color)

Height: 6'3"

Personality (still working on): Rapier is soft-spoken and very friendly. Tends to take on a motherly role in some cases. But she is also quick to anger. When this happens, she doesn't get revenge. She gets even.

Backstory (still working on): At a very young age, Rapier's parents passed away, and she was taken in by an Elezen family in Old Sharlayan. Here, she studied under Louisoix and eventually became an Archon. With here primary being in the History of Eorzea. After some time, she joined Louisoix in going against the Forum.

From there, Rapier participated in the Umbral Calamity. Unfortunately, she got separated from her friends during the ensuing battle. She got temporary amnesia in after math of the battle from a blow to the head. After some time, Rapier ended up in Gridania after some Rangers from the Twin Adders spotted her knocked out cold in the Black Shroud.

I am now realizing I have to change Rapier's back story if I stay as a Male Elezen.....

Oh well. Won't be that hard.

So, Rapier's appearance has changed in FFXIV.

It was initially meant to be temporary. But I am loving the Male Elezen look I cobbled together.

This will slowly be turned into a FFXIV OC blog for my main character on FFXIV.

Character is of the same name, although the FFVII version of Rapier will remain on this blog as a side character that is by request only.

Meaning any interactions with her will need to be specified in the asks. If the ask is sent by someone with an already established contact with her though it will be automatically assumed it is the FFVII Rapier.

Rufus smirked, amused rather than insulted by the comment. “Takes one to know one,” he quipped, idly stroking Rapier’s hip. The lackadaisical demeanor died with mention of his mother. “I don’t really remember her anymore,” he admitted, chest tightening. “There are pictures, of course. I remember how much I loved her, and the devastation of losing her, but I don’t remember her.” Rufus took a deep breath, forcing himself to relax as he dredged a rather unpleasant time of his like. “Anyone who was kind to me ended up being yelled at by either me or my father. Eventually they stopped trying.”

Rpaier couldn’t help but laugh at his retort of hearing Tseng calling him a stubborn asshole. He did have a point though, it did take one to know one. “But I guess I agree with him to a degree as well. I wouldn’t say you are an asshole, but you are at minimum stubborn. I can be one too though sometimes.”

Hearing him mention his mother, Rapier leaned in closer to place a small kiss on his cheek. “Im so sorry if I brought up any painful memories dear. I bet she was a really sweet person though. A shame she ended up with a man like your father. Although I am sure she would be proud of the nice young man you turned into.”

Rufus barked a humorless laugh. “Nice. Right.” He was certain his mother would be ashamed of the things he had done, had she lived to see them. But it didn’t matter. She was long gone, and he doubted he would have become the same person without her loss.

He shook his head.

“It’s not painful, exactly. Just unpleasant. There’s little I remember, and most of it surrounds her loss. Strange as it will sound, I think my father loved her as much as he could love anyone. I don’t think he actually cheated on her. Just had a myriad of children before and after her without marrying any of them. But I don’t know for certain.”

Rubbing her injured arm gingerly. Rapier glanced up at him listening to him speak more of his mother. "I would hope that is what happened as well."

Seeming hesitant to speak more, she looked away thinking for a moment before glancing back towards him. "I was thinking of something Rufus. I know you had asked about us having children one day."

Reaching up to place her hand on his cheek, she leaned in to place a small kiss on his lips. "Perhaps, if we do one day. And we have a daughter. We could name her after your mother."

Rapier wrapped one of the few sweaters she had 'borrowed' from Rufus tightly around herself. Doing so, she nuzzled closer into Rufus trying not only to keep herself warm but him as well. The Icicle Inn may have said they had heating but to Rapier it wasn't doing its job.

Rufus flinched as a cold nose bumped his bare shoulder. "Cold?" he asked softly. It was a little chilly in the room. Sitting up, Shiva it was cold, he reached down to grasp the thick comforter and pulled it up over them both. He wrapped Rapier in his arms, pulling her close. "Better?"

Feeling the weight of the comforter around her. She let out a small, happy sigh and cuddled in closer to him. "Yes, but I still want to know why on Gaia's green planet did you insist I come with you to this frozen hellscape?"

Rufus chuckled lowly. “Because I enjoy your company?” He leaned over to kiss her temple. “It’s just not quite the same when I ask Tseng to cuddle with me.”

Rapier sighed contently cuddling in even closer to him. "I enjoy your company too Rufus. If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't have said yes when you asked me to be by your side."

Hearing him mention Tseng, brought out a small laugh. "While that is funny to think about, it still doesn't answer my question of WHY you insisted I come with, when you know dull well my body can't handle the cold very well."

“Like I’m any better with it?” he retorted. “You know there’s a reason I wear so many layers. Besides the fashion of it. I’m serious. Whenever I imagined being here alone I felt colder already.” He brushed stray strands of hair from her face. “I suppose you’ve spoiled me.”

"Yes, Rufus. I know you don't handle the cold well either." Feeling his hand brush hairs out of her face, she couldn't help bit to blush. "I've spoiled you? Oh my sweet Rufus, I believe that is supposed to be the other way. For it is you who is consistently spoiling me almost every chance you get."
