the ideal media diet for a child is books and music from at least fifty years ago so they are always out of touch with the references and allusions of their peer group
It’s amazing how mass deportations would solve most of the problems the Millennials and younger are facing.
Housing is too expensive? Deport the migrants and it lowers the demand for housing. Let the private equity firms die as they loose all their money from speculating on houses they don’t live in.
Jobs aren’t paying enough? Deport the migrants who are competing for those jobs and boxing out Americans. Our citizens shouldn’t have to compete with the whole world for a job in their hometown. Don’t let the corporations fire Americans and hire migrants for pennies on the dollar.
Taxes are too high? Deport the migrants who are a net drain on the system. Save billions of dollars annually by deporting fraudsters.
Healthcare costs are high? Deport the migrants who get subsidized healthcare and burden the medical system.
Traffic is too heavy? Every migrant deported is a space on the road that opened up. It also reduces the number of uninsured drivers, and illegal and dangerous CDL drivers who can’t read road signs.
Crime rate is high? Deport the migrant criminals, and walk safely in your city.
Want better education outcomes for your children? Deport the migrants and class sizes get smaller, and costs go down.
Want a high trust society? Deport the migrants who are not interested in our country or its history, or values.
My toxic trait is that if I find a product I like I want to keep using the same product forever. It's not even brand loyalty. It's called stop changing and discontinuing everything.

Oh.
The coffee hasn't kicked in yet. I thought that was a riverboat on a canal built on the side of a mountain.
i think a big issue with how no one can make a good star trek series anymore (there are many reasons) is that no one can pace themselves anymore. they all want grandiose sci-fi slop with none of the build up, none of the quiet moments, anything. that's when you get the seasons that take years to film, cost millions of dollars but there's only like ten episodes per season
with the original series and TNG, you had these really well done experiences where everything is fleshed out and works really well and they're not afraid to be weird, either. You need to have fun stuff between the big episodes that make you think.
Sometimes you need to have an episode with the central plot of "What if Data wore a funny hat" or "What would happen if Q puts Picard and friends in the story of Robin Hood"
I am not saying they don't exist, I'm saying all the people including myself that I myself know who has a problem with one has a problem with the other.
Same.
The real mystery is what happened to all of the climate change doomsdayers. Not a single word from them.
Said it before, will say it again but meaner: if you can say with full confidence that Islam and Christianity are basically the same or are at all alike, you are talking out of your ass.
Christianity is the following of Jesus Christ, the Messiah and only begotten Son of God, the Father. Islam outright denies the deity of Christ, the crucifixion and thus Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection, and also denies the sonship of Jesus AND the fatherhood of God.
Christianity believes in One God who is in three persons, NOT three separate deities; Christianity is not a polytheistic religion, which is what Islam claims it to be. As for the Trinity, Islam also doesn't even know what the heck that is, referring to Mary as the third part of out supposed Trinity and the angel Gabriel in place of the activity of the Holy Spirit.
And how about the morals? For ever complaint about the "cruelty" of God, and for every violation of 21st century sentiment complained about, God is ridiculously merciful. In terms of both salvation, God has freed us from the necessity of works for our eternal salvation while also setting commands for our conduct - men are called to love theirs wives like Christ loved the church, whom He died for, for example. What's more, Christianity is recognized by the New Covenant, which does away with the Old Covenant. If the concern for women is their oppression, can you point out to me their oppression? Christianity cared and cares more about women than the world does.
Islam had none of this. Islam is a works-based religion that really only benefits men. Muhammad was a warlord, a pillager, a rapist, and a killer. He took what he wanted and, as the mouthpiece for Allah, could justify his actions as "righteous". Women were not treated as equals, Muhammed himself thought they were inferior to men in both intelligence and religion, on top of the other demeaning views he had ("your women are your plowed fields" Surah 2:223).
There is SO much more to say about the matter, and I want to; this post should have Bible and Quran verses to make what I am saying easier to find, though I have no problem citing my apologetic resources, all four found on youtube:
Inspiring Philosophy
David Wood
Apostate Prophet
Testify
Actually, I'm not done quite just yet:
The hardest aspect of Christianity is submission to God and accepting that we are indeed sinners and responsible for our sins. By the grace of God, we are humbled and through Christ given new lives.
The hardest aspect of Islam is submission to the sword and living under Sharia. "Paradise is found in the shadow of swords", as Muhammad once said.
Here’s how this Data Center’s generators starts up in the morning in Florida...
Notice the constant stream of heavy black smoke. ⚠️
Remember just a couple years ago when using electricity and diesel caused climate change, now data centers use as much power as cities and its no problem. 🤔
Hmmm
Diesel generators smoke on start up. The governor goes to full throttle to get it up to rated speed.
And the closer they get to full load, the more they smoke.
The two units on the right are close to full load.
I just googled this and… yes, it’s absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.
