A LOT got announced today so here’s a small summary!
There will be a special log-in bonus for three days starting from January 31st that will last 3 days, and on the third day you will be able to receive a special Kokoro LE.
To celebrate the 1 million downloads a new scout will be available from January 31st. The scout will feature cards from the 1st Anniversary Scout, Halloween 2016 Scout, X'mas 2016 Scout, New Year 2017 Scout and the Second Batch Futami Akabane LE/GR.
The correct date for the scout is from January 31st until February 6th.
A new Tour event featuring the special Kokoro Hanabusa LE will be available from January 31st. The event is called “KING OF ICHU”
With the second anniversary getting close, a big update to the game is planned. More news to come.
The second I-Chu Album “glace” has been announced. It will release on March 22nd, and it will contain the daily songs, a special song by Kumakocho and the We are I★CHU song sung by all of the cast. The CD will also feature three drama tracks of the Alchemist members, and the limited edition features a special Kuro Yakaku GR.

Mio laid on their porch watching the steam rise from the grass. It had been sprinkling all morning before turning into a downpour. He had always enjoyed the sounds of storms and the drop in temperature was definitely an added bonus. He hated when it was hot, especially when it was humid, which was unfortunately what was happening now. Everything was so sticky and his hair was so poofy, it was horrible. To make matters even worse, he couldn’t wear any of the cute clothes that Eva had picked out for him. He had to borrow stupid Ban’s shorts and tees and even then it was still way too hot.
Ban cheated the heat by wearing just his shorts and eating ridiculous amounts of popsicles and ice cream. Mio found it to be barbaric. He was always too open, too revealing, and way too sticky. Ban was gross, that’s what Mio had decided on a long time ago.
That assessment was soon confirmed when Mio felt something wet drip onto his back. He rolled over to face the messy assailant, only to have more ice cream drip on his face. “Ban, must you be so ill-mannered and disgusting all of the time?” he snapped, wiping his cheek clean.
Ban waved his hands defensively in front of himself. “I’m sorry, Mio! I just wanted to see what you were doing. You disappeared and I was worried,” he rattled off his sentences so quickly that anyone who wasn’t used to his style of speech wouldn’t have been able to understand him.
Mio just sighed; he didn’t ask for him to worry and he really didn’t want to be subject to such feelings. He tried to soften in tone before responding, “Well, you found me. Do you need something else?”
He had been trying to be less harsh to Ban since Eva had warned him that his behavior was unacceptable. However, It wasn’t just Eva’s suggestion that made him feel guilty. He had been with Ban for a few years now and gradually he began to feel himself warm up to his groupmate. Maybe he even felt almost positive feelings towards the boy.
Ban smiled brightly and shoved his hand out towards Mio. He held a small cat shaped ice cream. “I brought you a snack to cool down!”
Mio looked at the dripping mess in disgust. It had already begun to melt and left a mess on Ban’s hand. “You brought me a snack… That’s really unnecessary.”
“But it’s a cat and you like cats! I found it and picked it out just for you. You know how Eva always says you’re like a kitten!” He pushed the ice cream closer to Mio’s mouth, almost forcing him to take a bite. Mio fought every urge in his body to recoil and forced himself to take a small bite.
It was… good? The ice cream was chocolate and peanut butter, one of Mio’s favorite flavors. He smiled and took the rest of the popsicle from Ban. “It’s really tasty! Thank you, Ban.”
“I told you! It’s peanut butter like you like and its a cute kitty like you, so it’s the perfect treat on this hot day.”
Mio felt a small blush creep onto his cheeks. He was a ‘cute kitty’? Of course, he was cute, but hearing it from Ban was just… strange. It was a nice strange, though. Ban could be kind of cute sometimes.
He laid his head on Ban’s shoulder as they ate their ice cream. Ban was warm and nice and comfortable. Mio couldn’t help but think that if the summer heat brought moments like this, then maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.
Momo gripped Ricky a little tighter as he watched Kanata dance. His friend was so graceful, so elegant, something he was so clearly not. He felt his heart flutter and it was like every shojo that he has ever read. Kanata made his world feel fuzzy and fluffy and happy and light. He hoped that maybe he made Kanata feel even a little bit like that, too.
His thoughts stopped as he noticed Kanata catching his stare and smiling in his direction. Kanata gave him his best and brightest smile and Momo thought that his heart was going to stop. Bounding to the door, Kanata quickly opened it up and pulled Momo into the dance room. "Momo!! How long have you been here? You should've joined me!" Kanata's voice was like sugar, smooth and sweet. Momo loved it.
"N-no... Momo can't dance like Kanata. You're so much better, Momo will just fall and be in the way," Momo couldn't bear to look at Kanata. He felt his face flush and his heart race. Dancing with Kanata would be way too much.
Kanata laughed his sparkly laughed and Momo forced himself to meet this boy's eyes again. "Momo is a great dancer," he said, gently, while taking Momo's shaking hands. "See, just follow my lead and it'll be fun!"
Kanata began to slowly sway their arms before encouraging Momo to move his body. They danced slowly to Kanata's soft humming and Momo felt like his heart would burst. Kanata was the nicest person he had ever met. He always took the time to be soft with him and to take care of him.
Momo's feelings quickly reached their breaking point and he began to cry uncontrollably. He rushed to brush them off his face, but he could already see that he worried Kanata. "Momo is sorry, Kanata. I just feel so much for you and you're always so kind to Momo and it's just so much. Momo loves Kanata."
Momo began to cry even more when he realized what he had said. Kanata was going to hate him and he'll never get to be friends again and Ricky and RabiRabi will never play again and it was all too much.
Kanata reached out and brushed Momo's hair from his wet face. "Please, don't cry, Momo. Kanata loves Momo, too! You're very sweet and loving and caring. I've loved you for a long time."
"Re-really?" Momo managed to say between sniffles.
"Really, really!" was the sing-song reply.
Momo took a deep breath before doing his best to return Kanata's big smile. "Momo is really happy, Kanata."

Pop’n Star Fluff: A very sudden storm places Momo’s darling plants in danger.

Momo could always tell when storms were coming. The sky darkens and the wind feels different. He hates it. Its loud and scary and way too dark. And to make matters even worse, if the wind and rain are too strong, it could hurt his flowers. He protects them as much as he can, but sometimes he just can’t save them and it would be a lie to say that he doesn’t cry about it.
Runa says storms are beautiful. He says that they’re strong and elegant but Momo thinks that he only likes them because they remind him of himself. If he had delicate plant babies outside, he’d be afraid too!
Though, it’s a little unfair to say that it’s just the plants that cause Momo to hate storms. It’s unfair to say that that’s even the main reason he is afraid of storms. It’s the terrible clashes of thunder. Everything is dark and scary and then to make everything even worse the sky decides that it needs to yell! It’s terrible and Momo hates it.
So, when the biggest storm of the summer decides to roll in, completely uninvited, Momo was far from pleased. This time there was no warning. A very, very sudden and very, very scary storm came instantly and Momo found it very hard not to cry. He hadn’t had time to take his plants in and its already coming down so hard. His precious plumerias are going to die and maybe Momo will die, too. Probably not, but his heart will definitely sink.
Runa hears the large clap of thunder and at first he is excited, at least a little bit. He loves the pitter-patter of the rain and the rolls of thunder. But then he remembers how much Momo does not like storms and a little bit of worry tinges his heart. This storm was sudden, so that means he probably couldn’t get his plants to safety, which means he is probably going to cry and that’s never good. Momo isn’t supposed to cry, he’s supposed to be happy, to be the sunshine in this world. Runa decided he needed to get Kokoro.
Kokoro hates storms in a different way than Momo and Runa knows that. Kokoro is fearless and strong and determined but he is also incredibly vain. Storms make rain and rain is wet and wet means Kokoro’s hair gets messy and Kokoro hates messy hair. But Runa was willing to bet that Kokoro hated sadness tainting their Momo’s heart more than he hated getting damp and floppy hair. It doesn’t take a lot to coax Kokoro to come baby Momo with him; frankly, babying Momo is a relatively daily thing for them. The end result of a smiling flower boy was enough to deal with bad hair for a night.
It’s easy to find Momo wrapped in a blankie staring out the window at his garden. On nice days when they don’t have practice, he likes to sit with his flowers and nurse them. He’s always happy to show them off to his new friends, especially Issei! Momo was surprised that he liked flowers, too, so he’s happy to share his knowledge with him.
Momo doesn’t hear the two approaching and he jumps out of his blanket when Kokoro touches his shoulder. They can see he’s been crying but he does his best to smile his bright smile and ask Runa if he’s been enjoying the storm. Runa smiles back and goes to grab his hand. Kokoro happily grabs the other.
“Are your flowers still outside, Momo?” Runa gently asks. He makes sure his voice is even softer than usual, it’s better to be tender with Momo when he’s sad. He waits for Momo to nod slowly and sadly in response. “Would you like Kokoro and me to bring them in for you? You can stay inside to be safe from the storm, if you’re scared.”
Momo quickly shakes his heads no. He couldn’t make his friends go out and face the scary storm for him! Kokoro squeezes his hand and gives him one of his real smiles, the ones saved for his friends, not just his fans. “It’s fine, Momo! We’ll go really fast, you won’t even miss us, I promise!” Before Momo could protest further, Kokoro was out the door and Runa quickly followed. Momo watched as they brought his many potted plants inside.
By the time they are finished, they are soaked through and through, but all of the very special plants are safe. Momo quickly runs to get them towels to try off and something soft to change into. He watches as the two carefully ring out the water in their hair, Runa taking even more care than Kokoro. When they were dry enough, they quickly change into the pajamas that Momo had brought them.
It’s hard to ignore the thankful smile on Momo’s face. He really is their personal sunshine. It’s even harder to ignore the giant hug he gives them. He snuggles into the embrace and they very happily return his affections
Maybe storms aren’t too bad. They usually end up with Momo getting to cuddle with his very cute best friends. They always made sure to keep him safe from the terrifying sounds from the sky. They always made sure to keep him safe from anything, actually, and Momo was very thankful. He was thankful that he got to meet such wonderful people and he was very thankful that he was given the opportunity to love these two kind boys.
