Hello everyone, it's your lovely owner of this site and I have something to tell you. I hereby to announce that this site no longer updated starting November 29th, 2016 because I'm not playing this game anymore (both JP and EN). However, I still put this site to be alive as an archive, especially for character informations and event mechanisms (up to Medley Festival -- I don't add Challenge Festival since I don't play it again when this type of event was introduced). Well let’s move on to the new updates under the cut!
New main story on Aqours mode added: Chapter 1 Part 3 and 4.
New song added: Aozora Jumping Heart.
This song also used as first opening song for “LoveLive! Sunshine!!” anime.
Four remaining little devil-themed cards added to μ’s Premium Scouting pool: UR Umi, SR Eli, SR Kotori & SR Rin.
There’s also a chance to get this new set until July 20, and doing 10+1 draw (costs 50 Loveca Stones) will guarantee you at least SR or higher.
Two cards which previously distributed as main prize of Challenge Festival Round 3 (SR Nozomi & SR Hanayo) also added to μ’s Premium Scouting pool, with low chance to obtain.
Two new N cards added to Regular Scouting: N Nagi Shiraki (Pure) & N Sayuri Hyodo (previously distributed through Challenge Festival Round 3 event).
In commemoration of the update, 50 Loveca Stone given as the bonus for all players (1 account only receive this reward once).
New group unit from “LoveLive! Sunshine!!”, Aqours, is officially added to the game! As such, initial cards for all rarities are released and fully voiced.
Before this update, all members of Aqours already received a set of initial cards (Pure R cards that features “Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?” outfits when transformed) but the voices weren’t provided.
All Aqours’ songs added as default to play (except “Yozora wa Nandemo Shitteru no?” from previous event).
SSR is introduced as new rarity of the card, and this rarity is between SR and UR.
As such, μ's members also receiving their initial SSR cards in this update (this month’s update featuring outfits from “KiRa-KiRa Sensation!” when transformed).
New center skills for some UR cards that able to give a bonus for certain groups, years or sub-groups.
Using certain amount of seals as new method to transform a card is introduced.
You can still use a duplicate to transform, though.
Some cards have different cost of seals to be used for transforming a card, based on their rarity.
In addition, when you sold or use transformed cards as material of performing lessons will only give you 1 seal.
School Idol Skills introduced, the usage is to strengthen your cards with various kinds of skills.
Note that each rarities have different limit of School Idol Skill slots. The slot will expanded twice times once the cards transformed.
Using duplicate of the cards will also expand the School Idol Skill slot.
Special lessons can be performed although the card has been transformed before, in order to expand the School Idol Skill slots. A duplicate of the card will increase by 2 slots, while using seals will increase by 1 slots.
Cards that distributed through promotions (login bonus campaigns, serial code input) will always have 1 slot for R and SR cards and 2 slots for UR cards, even though they’ve been pre-transformed.
New partner functionality is introduced. Partners are the cards that shown on your profile screen, not showing a center of your main unit anymore. However, other players will still see the center of your main unit as helper when performing lives.
Favorite Points introduced. When you use a card that set as partner, the respective card will receive Favorite Points. This will shown up on your profile, just like highest total kizuna did.
New feature to switch between untransformed and transformed design of each cards.
Card lists UX also revamped:
The starting limit of card spaces changed to 120 cards.
Maximum limit of total spaces that you can have is 1000 cards. As such, those who already spent Loveca Stones for expanding will receive their extra spaces retroactively.
Spending 1 Loveca Stone will expand your space limit to 4 cards instead of 3.
Support cards (such as alpacas, teachers and other supporting characters) didn’t count on card spaces anymore, they have it’s own page. If you already have any support card that skill levels are greater than level 1, the card’s skill level will reset to level 1 and you will receive the copy of the respective cards based of your recent level before this update.
Toggle button for switching between μ's and Aqours mode added:
You can switch between μ's and Aqours mode in live selections and story mode. This option didn’t affect normal characters sections.
You can use any unit to play a song (for both μ's and Aqours), but using μ's or Aqours members in their own modes will give more score points in a live.
Aqours songs are unlocked through assignments, not based on your rank level.
Expert difficulty songs are now available by default, not as time-scheduled exclusive anymore.
As such, Master level introduced as new high-tier difficulty. 4 songs will playable at this level and rotates every month.
Random selection (based on song attribute) added to special stage sections. A song attribute will shuffled everyday, and both μ's and Aqours have their own random pool for each level.
Reward box system introduced. Filling the reward box gauge will gives you various items (such as Friend Points, School Idol Skills, coins, etc.) .
Starting August, there are new schedule of Premium Recruitment cards will be released every month (for total 4 times):
10th and 25th: μ's cards
End of month and 15th: Aqours cards
2016/07/06 updates
SIF JP sets two new records along with the massive updates: the game hits #1 of top selling game rankings in both App Store and Play Store for the first time ever, and also new record of most number of users online! As a reward, 50 Loveca Stones given for all players who have been registering before July 24!
Do take a note that 1 account can only receive this reward once.
As you might known I was dropped this blog before because of miscellaneous things I’d faced before (no need to explain what are these), but after reinstalled SIF few days ago, I just remembered how dusty this site... :/
So I decided to relive this site with massive update (just like how SIF do) and here are some to-do lists for this site:

Last but not least, because of my insufficient memory, starting today, I won’t covering up English version anymore (and also because the said version is a year late than Japanese release). I’m really sorry ;_;

New token-collecting event, titled “Kyou ga Kagayaku Yokan” (今日が輝く予感 in Japanese) starts from Aug 5 (16.00) until Aug 15 (15.00) [GMT +9].
Collect bubble tokens to play new event song “Moshimo Kara Kitto”.
The app was updated to version 3.0, if you still runs at older version, you will forced to update your app from Google Play or App Store.
Version 3.0 of SIF JP adds major changes below:
Home Screen changes
New buttons to view announcements, renewed icons for friend activity and gift box
Friends List button removed. To view your friends list, access it from “Others” tab
Added titles to be displayed on left top corner on your profile. You also can access it from “Others” tab. (The default title is “Otonokizaka High Student”)
You can change main backgrounds for your home screen. It can be accessed from “Others” tab.
Assignments
Assignments is new achievement system on SIF that rewards you new titles, backgrounds, and more. Some assignments are unlocked by clearing the other ones, and some are time-limited only.
Goals (aka. Story completions) and album rewards are now combined with Assignments.
When you unlock a song after completing an assignment, all difficulties (Easy/Normal/Hard) now unlocked. No need to play one by one from easiest to hardest difficulty to unlock the chart permanently, but you still awarded 500 Friend Points if you clear a song in all difficulties.
Seal Shop
When you use R cards or above to sold or practice with the other cards, you will receive seals that can be traded for cards or other items. Note that idolizing cards, using promo cards or support cards as your practice partner won’t grant you any seals. You’ll receive 1 seal if you use it for unidolized cards, and 2 seals if you use for idolized seals.
There are 3 types of Seals:
Ultra Seals (gold-colored medal), that obtained from UR cards.
Super Seals (silver-colored medal), that obtained from SR cards.
Seals (pink-colored medal), that obtained from R cards.
Items that sold on Seal Shop are:
Promo cards, which is distributed through serial codes and already expired.
Some UR cards that no longer can be scouted through Premium Scouting, for example the cards that released over 6 months ago.
Seal Shop item lineups will changed every month.
Cards or items quantities will changed from 999999 to “unlimited” on future update.
You’ll retroactively get your seals based from R/SR/UR cards that you’ve been used or sold between May 30 and the time when this update released.
