So..not really Bronycon anymore as it is, emergency commissions and stuff. I just got into an accident today. My car is smashed up, and is undriveable. A completely unintentional plothole. Edmund was made when the M:30YL future was still viable (and when Julie-Su was still around). Since the Dark Mobius arc occurred (which was the last time we saw Silver’s future and Edmund), SEGA got stricter on the comic’s content and the lawsuit went into full swing. having started quietly in 2010. Because of this, M:30YL probably became unexplorable as a future even before Thrash got involved (sources say that this occurred around the end of the Genesis arc) so Edmund would have been avoided. Then Endangered Species happened and just utterly wiped him from existence before the reboot was even a thing. If the story had continued without the reboot and Silver had gone back to his future, it’d probably be a very different place, and without Edmund there.

And…uh, the comic has already called Knuckles the last of his kind since the reboot, so two of the three definitely aren’t coming back. Scourge is also probably not coming back, but that’s through stuff said outside the comic scope.

I didn't evwn realize Dark Mobius may have had a hand in why these events happened, I only knew about the lawsuit and reboot. Thanks for clearing this up a bit! Poor Silver, his future is... well, nonexistent now. So that sucks for him.

I'm just blathering about Sonic Comics and a weird potential plot hole that probably has no meaning anymore because the entire multiverse has been completely rebooted and this is a moot point now (and it happened at the tail end before the reboot so it probably had a planned explanation that never had a chance to be revealed).

After catching up with almost all the Sonic comics post #200 (I will start reading #150-200 soon and then try to read everything before that), Imma speculate on something that no longer matters and I may have overlooked something completely that answers everything. We know that the past can be changed, it has been noted directly in dialog that characters in the future SEE AND RECOGNIZE these changes. So my question is this: How does Edmund, directly descent of Knuckles, exist if Thrash sent almost every Echidna baring Knuckles, Finitevus, and Mari-An and son into who knows where? It will probably never be answered because REBOOT, but I have two ideas banging around in my head. (I am completely ignoring Mobius X Years Later because possible futures in alternative dimensions or whatever but those don't make complete sense either). A) in the original timeline Knuckles was eventually able to find and rescue the Echidnas, or at the very least some of them. He and Julie-Su have their Daughter Lara-su and Edmund eventually came about. B) Silver's meddling in the past indirectly caused everything that happened since Thrash was introduced. It was never supposed to happen. Edmund has been erased from existence in the future. Good job Silver (I still like ya you huge screw up). C) There is also a theory that I have involving people that use Chronos Control being disconnected from time and unable to be affected by changes, so... that circumvents everything above to an extent if Edmund ever uses the stone even once but I can't recall if he ever did (he may have off panel). Again. Speculation. Just thinking. Now bring back Finitevus, Scourge and Best Echid- I mean, Constable Remington.

I found a local comic shop here that has back copies of pretty much every title you can imagine at reasonable prices. And better yet, it's across the street from a restaurant that specialize in a variety of Asian dishes from bento to pho. Naturally it is an hour away from home, so any future trips will have to be planned because this is a bit far for a spur of the moment "I want kim chi and X-Men comics" craving. But it's nice to be found.

If someone pushing you to the point where you finally break down crying in an attempt to tell someone else what they've been doing to you isn't the sign of a toxic relationship then I genuinely don't know how much worse it has to be to qualify.

Get to grandma's house to help out with something before work. Great-grandma isn't there. Ask where she is. "Uh, she's in the ICU remember?" No. I don't remember. BECAUSE NO ONE SENT OUT A MASS MESSAGE OR DIRECTLY TOLD ME SHE WAS BACK IN THE HOSPITAL HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT THIS IS KIND OF IMPORTANT. I WAS AT WORK FOR 14 HOURS YESTERDAY I HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT SHE WENT BACK BETWEEN WHEN I TALKED TO HER THE DAY BEFORE AND RIGHT NOW. No one tells me anything. Grandma goes to Hawaii, doesn't tell me she's leaving until someone else not in the family did after she left. Grandma is in hospital, get told a day later by someone else not in the family. Grandfather nearly dies and has been in the hospital for days AND I DON'T FIND OUT UNTIL ALMOST A WEEK AFTER THE FACT WHEN MY MOTHER RANDOMLY CALLS ME OUT OF THE BLUE AND ASKS IF I WANT TO SEE HIM. I'm sorry that I don't shove my head up your ass and ask you every detail of your day every single day, but the least you could do is SEND ME A FUCKING TEXT SO I'M IN THE LOOP. "Hey hon, greatgran's in the hospital thought that was important to tell you" WOULD BE FUCKING NICE. A FACEBOOK POST. ANYTHING. I TALK TO MANY OF YOU EVERY FUCKING DAY THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IT MENTION THIS SHIT WHEN YOU SEE ME. My arm is swollen and hurts to move in specific ways. There are two possible reasons for this:

1) I have a bug bite on my elbow. I may have been bitten by something I am reacting to. 2) I smacked my elbow into the metal corner of a chair arm yesterday. Self explanatory.

It didn’t start bothering me too bad until I started working. I was told to take Benadryl. Did. Didn’t do anything but make me feel tired and like I had a fever. About an hour and a half ago I went to stand up and moved my arm in a completely usual way for me.

Pain like… like something had grabbed my muscles and YANKED shot through my arm. It just hurt and it ached for over an hour after it.

So I realize that maybe, MAYBE, something slightly worth taking note of may be a little wrong. The person currently in charge of coverage shifts is… my aunt. You can see where this is going.

Would you like to know her reaction to me asking for an hour off early so I can see a doctor that isn’t at an emergency room? Something I never ask for and something she does on a regular basis for things far less than potential injuries?

… yeah. Thanks aunt. I may have something seriously wrong with my arm and you just brush me off as being dramatic even though you know I never ask for time off unless something may be seriously wrong with me.

In the three weeks I've lived alone in my house I have lost 12 pounds. And I didn't notice until people were constantly asking me "wait, you look different, are you losing weight?" ... while I'm actually very happy for the weight loss it makes me wonder where it came from. Just from walking Marty? Less family stress? Less stress eating? Eating food I've bought on my own (which is primarily fresh vegetables and fruit)? Or maybe everything?

Things that make you look guilty of stealing something: 1) saying you looked everywhere and couldn't find it for two days. 2) returning said missing item the day IMMEDIATELY AFTER you're told you'd get a REWARD for returning it. 3) claiming that you found it in a place the owner knows damn well it NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE. I'm not saying you're without a doubt guilty. I'm not saying you DID steal it. But the circumstances are AMAZINGLY SUSPICIOUS and you look guilty as hell.

I am legitimately starting to wonder if my aunt is being confrontational INTENTIONALLY. All of my co-workers have told me that they think she treats me like dirt. They've all asked how I put up with it. They all say she doesn't do this to anyone else. So why does she always, ALWAYS, do it to me? Why does she make it a POINT to do it in front of others? Why is it she sighs and snarks when we're alone but when anyone else is there she outright INSULTS ME? Is she doing this on PURPOSE? Because that's what it feels like...

Yes aunt. The proper response to accidentally giving someone the incorrect instructions (and others HEARD said instructions BTW and backed me up), is to INSIST that we're all stupid and don't know to listen. As opposed to, I dunno. OWNING UP TO THE FACT YOU TOLD ME TO DO THE WRONG THING.
