Yeah, seeing kpop idols/korean singers & rappers talk about BLM is nice, but unless they continue to call out the IGNORANCE in the industry from fellow entertainers years later it doesn't matter. Unless they show support for Black people the way they claim to, it doesn't matter. If they are met with justified criticism from black fans and instead of retaliating with annoyance and ignorance they apologize and learn from their mistakes it DOES NOT MATTER. This is not a one-and-done situation, the movement does not stop.

in saying tho, if an idol does speak up it is NOT an excuse for yall to uphold them and use it as a way to paint them as being woke or good. it is not something you can then use in an argument as to why your idols are the best.

your idol speaking up against the injustice does not make them "woke" or "good" or above the rest of us. it makes them human.
