This is my dream house, inside and out.

It’s the house from the movie Practical Magic. Which is totally a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine. I was talking with a friend about it today and decided to look it up.

Apparently the house was built (and torn down, unfortunately) on the San Juans (which are islands off of the coast of Washington state) which is amazing! I always got such a New England feel from the house and thought about it often when I moved from the east coast to Washington.

So if I could have a house like this just.. twenty miles outside of Seattle, I’d be happy!

Hmm… I remember reading an article years ago showing the Practical Magic house as a pre-existing house in Maine.  More research required…..
