Now observe the Dick Grayson in the wild, who wrote down “Nightwing” instead of his name:
Not once.
Not twice.
But going on three times, before he crossed out that final attempt and finally tried his real name.
Also note that he was among the last to do so, meaning he saw the others write their real names and was still like “obviously I should write Nightwing” when prompted to put down his own.
