In this day and age, finding scholarships can become difficult. Sometimes the guidelines are extremely specific, and sometimes there are too few to the many looking for some financial help. Here are some places to find scholarships as well as different methods to locate a larger range of scholarships.
1) Pinterest: Pinterest.com has an array of lists of scholarships that range from being left-handed to describing what type of ice-cream flavor you would be. Simply search for “scholarships” and you should be good to go.
2) Your town: Many small-town businesses provide scholarships to local students, including local churches. Oftentimes they are small, but it can add up. Speak with a guidance counselor about possible scholarships the school provides as well.
3) Large Businesses: Companies such as Coca-Cola and Netflix are known for their charitable contributions to students. These are often larger scholarships that require video or a project to be chosen.
