Outfit prompt: Blushing Destruction
Outfit Prompt: Veil
Outfit Prompt: Suitcase Thief
Look, I dunno either, guys. The random word generator gives me what it gives me and I must make sense out of chaos.Â
Outfit prompts?
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in outfit prompts to just have fun with? My association and are doing them on discord and I thought maybe you guys would have fun with them too. I won’t be reblogging them (so don’t worry about me clogging your dash) and might not even have time to look at them (just fair warning). Ironically enough, I now have even less free time due to the fact that I have 4-year-old I need to keep busy and learning, what with the schools shut down.
I would/will be posting one a day (again, to keep from clogging on your dash) so if even one person is interested I’ll start doing it.
Love to you all! Stay safe and sane!
GARDEN OF SPIRAL STAIRCASE:
Note on Major Suits
Jealous Phantom: The makeup, dress, and mirror cost Stars. Posed dress, posed dress II, and a version of the mirror without the knife at/in the girl’s throat are the completion prizes. (No ideas about the differences between the two posed dresses.)
Night Banquet: The makeup, dress, and white cloth prop cost Stars. The wineglass, posed suit, and posed earrings are completion rewards. For this next part, credit to Yenna1710 on reddit who did breakdowns of all the suits for this event and took pics of the two issues shown above. 1) The layering on the wine glass makes it very difficult to style it with anything that doesn’t fit perfectly in the glass. 2) It’s hard to tell from a distance because the skin is so pale and the dress is white, but for Momo only knows what reason, the dress was designed with pale skinned cleavage attached to the dress. Meaning that if you try to use a darker skintone you get the above: dark skin with pale breasts. Yeah, I got no clue.
World in a Game:Â Hair, makeup, dress, coat, and the ghostly city gameboard prop cost Stars. Posed hair, posed dress, posed hair ornament, and posed earrings are completion rewards.
Fleeting Dream: Hair, makeup, dress, the head ornament, and the ground prop cost Stars. Posed hair, posed dress, posed hair ornament, posed earrings, and the foreground prop are completion rewards. It’s worth noting that both the hourglass fairy prop and the butterflies prop cannot be seen in Free Dressing.Â
What you should know about Garden of Spiral Staircase and its currency
If you don’t know how Garden of Spiral Staircase works, I highly recommend my main post. This might be confusing otherwise. (Details from the Squirtle Squad documents found in this reddit post.)
So, as mentioned in the post linked above, there are two types of currencies you exchange for pieces of the suit: Wings and Stars. Some pieces will cost Wings, others will cost Stars. It’s very important to keep in mind that you only get Stars upon getting a certain number of Black Feathers. As you get Black Feathers every pull, you can easily tell how many pulls you’ll need to get Stars.Â
You get your first 5 Stars at 50 Feathers. With 1 free pull a day, which comes out to 10 free over the whole event, this means that you need to do 40 pulls to get 5 Stars, which at 30 diamonds per pull is a total of 1200 diamonds. Now we’re about to get into some bullshit so prepare yourself: there are no items that cost less than 6 Stars. Yep. This means that you’ll need to get 60 Feathers (1500 diamonds) in order to get enough Stars to get one Star-priced item.Â
It’s worth noting that there are a ton of things that you get with just Wings, so you don’t need to get Stars unless something you want costs Stars.Â
Unfortunately, as I’m sure many of you suspected, all dresses and makeups will cost Stars and a lot, but not all, of the props will cost Stars. Again check out Squirtle Squad’s sheet on this reddit post where they not only tell you what each item costs, but where you can make a copy to your own drive, put your own info in, chose which items you want, and the sheet will tell you how many Wings, Stars, and diamonds you’ll need.Â
Some edits to Garden of Spiral Staircase post
Was going back and re-reading the post and caught a couple things that I either didn't include or didn't clarify well enough, at least in my opinion. Post has now been corrected.
1) I've now included that if you get all four major suits you aslo receive a background and all four minor suits as well as their recolors.
2) I forgot to include the "each" when it came to talking about the prices of [Fleeting Dreams] and [World in a Game]. It's 3,900 diamonds for each suit not for both.
Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
Found another one! My brain has abandoned me for greener pastures. Â
3) Somehow completely forgot to say how much it cost to do a pull, which is 30 diamonds. I will say that after I finished writing the event mechanics I’m not too surprised that my brain was just like “I’m outta here!” XD
Post has been corrected. Again, apologies for any confusion.

(6 March 2020 new via official LN fb, details via reddit and Iri’s video)
GARDEN OF SPIRAL STAIRCASE (9-18 March)
New event format for a hell event: That’s right! A next hell event is coming and, if you haven’t heard it already get ready, it’s PICK AND CHOOSE! The world must be ending, right? Well, it’s a bit more complicated than that, of course, because, y’know, hell event. So let’s get into that! (If you’re a more visual learner and/or this amount of words makes you go D: make sure you check Still Confused at the end.)
Event mechanics & currency: Despite it being a pick and choose, you’ll still be doing pulls but in this case you’re pulling to get the currency that you need to pick the pieces you want. Please bear with me as I attempt to explain this as it’s a bit convoluted.Â
So, when you do a pull, you always get a Black feather as well something random: gold, stamina, diamonds, or Wings, an event currency which always drop in batches of six. Each pull has a chance of dropping Wings, until you’ve collected a total of 360 of them. Wings is one of the two currencies that you’ll exchange for pieces of the suit.
On top of the pick and choose, there is also the tried and true hell event node/milestone mechanic which uses the Black Feathers you receive with each pull. You get a reward every 10 Feathers you collect. So the first node is 10, then 20, then 30, etc. For the first four nodes you’ll receive, in order, 50 stamina, 5 Princess Cards, 50 diamonds, and then a background. After that at every node you’ll receive 5 Stars, the other currency you’ll exchange for suit parts. The exception to this the nodes that are a multiple of 40. At nodes 80, 120, 160, and 200 you’ll receive a random minor suit. When you reach 240 you’ll get the Cloud recolor, at 280 the Apple recolor, at 320 the Ruin recolor, and then at 360 a light version of the background you got at 40 Feathers.
Cost: You will get one free pull a day, ending with you having 10 free at the end. Each pull costs 30 diamonds. Here’s some super important info about the cost of the suits. All following costs assume that you’re using the free pulls for just that suit, so please keep that in mind. [Night Banquet] (far left) and [Jealous Phantom] (far right) will each cost 2,700 diamonds. Due to the nodes, you’ll receive one minor suit and one background as well. Both [Fleeting Dreams] (middle left) and [World in a Game] (middle right) each cost 3,900 diamonds. Along with the suits, you’ll get two minor suits and one background from the nodes, as well as a background as a completion prize. If you want all four suits, it will be a total of 10,200 diamonds. You'll also receive a background and all four minor suits, as well as their recolors. However, there is one last node that has a light version of the dark background received at the 40 Feathers node. You have to spend an extra 300 diamonds to get it, bringing the total up to 10,500. For the cost of various combinations (like say you want [Fleeting], [Banquet], and [Game]), Iri has made a great breakdown in her step-by-step video guide (link goes to the specific spot in the video where she discusses this).
Suit notes: There are some suit notes to make but this has already gotten so long. I will make them on a separate post and update this one with the link when I’ve finished and posted it (which won’t be today).
Still confused? Iri has made a video guide to the whole event, allowing you to see the event in action along with her explaining everything as it goes along. The Squirtle Squad on reddit has created a post with both a detailed guide to the event and a google sheet which as a lot of detailed information and which you can copy and use to figure out how many diamonds the specific item(s) you want will cost you.
I’m back, baby! Let’s do this!
Currently in the middle of writing up a post about the new hell event. I thought I’d be done by now (I’ve been working on it for over an hour T_T) but the mechanics are convoluted so it’s taking me longer than I thought it would. I’m hoping to have it up sometime today though.Â
Love to you all and I’m very excited to be back.

BUNDLE SALE: [Redeemed Goddess] & [Night Lily]Â (7-16 Dec.)
Both [Goddess] and [Lily] are available for purchase for $2.99 USD (makeup not included). However, if you buy both you get a discount and will receive the second suit for less, bringing the total for both to $4.99 USD. YOU MUST PURCHASE THE SECOND SUIT WITHIN 24 HOURS IF YOU WANT TO GET THE DISCOUNT.Â
RETURNING RECHARGE: [Lyrical Lyre]Â (7-24 Dec.)
[Lyre] returns for purchase via the new special Back to the Past feature. Please note that this feature is a little weird (and bullshit, if you want my opinion). If you only completed part of the suit it does allow you to start from where you left off, meaning you won’t be forced to wait (the very long time) it takes them to come to the store/crafting and/or purchasing parts you already own. Please note the way it works is that you go to the Back to the Past feature and you purchase currency there that you use to get the pieces you’re missing; you do not get the currency for [Lyre] from purchasing diamonds. Not only will the suit/pieces be more expensive than the first time we got the suit and, assuming that they haven’t changed it since I last looked into it, ANY CURRENCY LEFTOVER FROM GETTING LYRE WILL DISAPPEAR once this particular suit is again taken off the market. You do not get to keep it once [Lyre] ends. (Yes, this is super fucking bullshit, but here we are.) If this element has changed, please let me know.
TIME-LIMITED QUEST: [Star Invoker]Â (7-16 Dec.)
(4 Dec. 2019 news via official LN fb, details via reddit & Iri’s video)
GARDEN SECRET (7-16 Dec.)
New event format: Complete event levels in order to collect event currency: Serene Petals. The format for this event is brand new so please bear with me as it’s hard to explain, although in reality it’s quite simple. So, this is a sorta tiered event. What do I mean by sorta? Well, each suit as its own tier, but you get to choose which suit you want to work on. However, you are not locked into the suit you choose nor do you have to complete it to move onto another suit; you absolutely free to change which suit you’re working on. So, if you want only the first five items of one of the suits and then 2 of another suit, you can get those five items and then move right onto the second suit; no need to complete the first one. As mentioned, however, this is a tiered so you get the items for each suit in a set order. Unlike other tiered events, your Petals do not automatically get applied to the tiers, rather you go and choose which suit you want to apply the Petals to. So, if you have 257 Petals you can choose to split that between the first tier of two suits or you can choose to get two tiers on one suit. So it’s sort of a weird tiered pick and choose mutant of an event. If you’re more of a visual learner, the ever amazing Iri has created a great step-by-step video guide, along with some tips.
Event currency: Each suit has its own event map. Three of the levels are just story stages and two of them are your normal level style battles. The first time you play each level will be free and upon completion of the map you’ll get 50 Petals. Every day, you will get three free resets. All of this comes to a total of 330 Petals for free during the event. This is two items from each suit, with extra left over. After that, if you want more petals, you will need to use diamonds to purchase more level chances so you can get more Petals.Â
Cost: And this is where it gets really exciting because these suits are actually pretty cheap! Assuming you use the currency you get from your free tries for only one suit, the costs are as follows (suits listed in order of images above). [Prayer Dancer] will cost 1525 diamonds. [Starry Mentor] will cost 1630. [Rosy Waltz] will cost 1560. All three suits, with free tries, will be 5375 diamonds. Please note that the number for all three suits is correct. Since the above individual suit prices each take into free tries, if you’re getting two or more suits, the second (and third) suit will cost more than shown above. Thanks to the lovely Iri who always comes through for us, I can also list the prices for just two complete suits: [Waltz] and [Dancer] will be 3415 diamonds, [Waltz] and [Mentor] will be 3520, and [Dancer] and [Mentor] will be 3485. As of this moment, return costs are unknown.Â
Still confused? Here’s some extra things to help you out. Not sure about the suits? The absolutely wonderful Iri has put together two vidoes: one is a breakdown of the suits (with a very general event breakdown; see this video for a more detailed guide) and a pros and cons video, which talks about which pieces she finds more useful and which ones are hard to style. In her description and her pinned comment on the detailed video guide, she also links to a document which tells you (with pictures) which items you get at each tier, lazy suits to do for the style battles, and the attributes for each level if you don’t have the lazy suit. The Squirtle Squad on reddit has also continued to be their marvelous selves and have created a brilliant spreadsheet that shows not only what tier costs but also allows you, once you make your own copy, to input the info of which pieces you want so you can figure out exactly how much it will cost you.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO AZURE MESSENGER by the ever amazing Iri!
This event (which is pick and choose, for those who don’t know) is really weird and, thus, complicated. I highly highly recommend that you watch Iri’s video so that you know what to do when the event finally comes. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how much easier this video will make your life.Â
As always, make sure you give the video a like if you watch it! And I, personally, recommend subscribing to her. I find her videos tremendously useful and I love her suit breakdowns. Plus, you’ll get sneak peeks at new events from the Chinese server which is, in my opinion, is always really fun.
