my biggest piece of advice to other subs, especially when submitting to cis men, is to make them earn it. every step of the way.

make them earn the privilege of being called Daddy or Sir, the privilege of causing your body pain, the privilege of witnessing your vulnerability. vet them. ask questions. ask more questions. push back when you need to. slow things down if you become confused or uncomfortable for any reason at any time. don’t stop until you feel clear, safe, calm, & prepared for whatever you both decide comes next.

being a sub does not mean having zero boundaries, & it does not mean surrendering your autonomy as a human being. your limits matter. know them & enforce them.

treat yourself the way you would want a dom to treat you first & foremost. then, make them measure up to your high standards.

you deserve it.
