CityCop Seasons, 4/10 I believe, taken by Kim from Germany who left some super nice feedback.
Going to try and post more on this tumblr. We've got enough followers to warrant actually posting anything haha.
RECENT UPDATES;
CityCop first press tapes have all shipped, CityCop second press tapes have begun shipping, slowly.
We have a new zine coming out on Thursday (That's the 1st of March right?), for World Book Day, which will be pretty cheap, about 10 pages and a handdrawn card covers. Full A5, which is slightly bigger than the zines we usually do.
We have a shit ton of Charity releases which we're starting as soon as we've finished our next release, which is the Done For tape.
The charity releases include, a zine written by an amazing dude in aid of Alcoholism, which his mum died from recently. The Love Collection II (Which is 25 tapes and 25 CDs this year) which will once again go to 2 charities, there's been a bunch of charity compilations lately, so once again we will be stepping it up with this. And a ton more to announce.
Thanks for the support, it means the world.

Loads of stuff to announce soon. But this is the 1/1 copy of the CityCop tape, one of a kind artwork and box. Only available at our Charity show on Sunday (Which will be great!)
We released our first poetry release last night. A 12 page handwritten zine featuring a collection of poetry, completely DIY.
The first press sold out in 30 minutes, second press is online now

First update of 2012;
I havenât updated anyone for a while so iâll do an update now.
In the first half of this year we have releases from CityCop, Done For, Energy, Ducking Punches, all are âdeluxeâ cassettes apart from Ducking Punches, which will hopefully be a Digipak CD. The cassettes are âDeluxeâ because theyâre super limited and have so many extra things/details packaged with them.
We have a Charity Series coming out, which will be 4 different bands releasing tapes through us, amazing bands, itâs going to go Band TBA, Energy, Double Cassette Split bands TBA, these will also be super limited and nice.
Weâre gonna take âuselessâ formats to the next level too, and release a piece of paper at some point, it will be double sided and full of lyrics/poems/etc from the band, and it will come with a download code. The best thing about this (personally), is that you can support bands, have something to show for your money, and itâll only cost about ÂŁ1 including postage.
Weâve got plans for a couple of vinyl releases, but theyâre all in super early talks with other labels/bands, but we will be releasing atleast one thing on vinyl.
Weâve got another charity compilation coming out, this time on both tapes and CDs, itâll feature mostly bands that werenât on the last one, but a few will be returning. The tape will feature various covers, and weâre hoping weâll be able to release brand new songs from each band on the CD.
We have a show on the 5th Feburary, LR005, for Cancer Research UK, featuring We Came Out Like Tigers, Henry Rabyâs Punk Poetry, Nathan Luke, Jonny Gill, Chris Kendall (Magician) and one more band. Itâs gonna be a super interesting night, you donât often get magicians on shows haha.
Towards the end of the year weâre hoping to do a beautiful poetry anthology, poetry and writing is something we feel really strongly about and we really wanna branch out.
Thanks for the support, weâre pretty busy.
MORE than happy to announce another 2012 release, from one of my favourite bands right now.
Weâll be announcing more details when everything is finalised, if you havenât heard Done For then check them out. Melodic Hardcore from Australia, FFO; More Than Life, MLIW, Break Even, Take Courage etc etc.
Happy new year.

CityCop tapes have been ordered.
Yellow tapes with an Aqua case. Super super super limited. The CDs won't be as limited.
Will be another DIY release and we're running through ideas on how to make it amazing.
CITYCOP - SEASONS - MARCH 2012.
Spread it, this EP rules, so proud to be a part of it. Itâll be LR005 (?) but they were the second band we started working with. We love them like Children.
Letâs do a 12â compilation with as many UK labels as is possible. Non-profit, completely for Charity. Just enough labels so that it costs pretty much nothing for each label, get an amazing line-up, and we could make a big contribution to Charity from the Hardcore community as a whole.
I didnât start this label to put out mediocre releases, and my aim will always be to put out the absolute best bands I can find and have a mixture of unique and completely crazy ideas. This is more crazy than unique (Though I canât think of a compilation like this with so many labels, P.E.A.C.E/War was only one label)
I toy with a shit load of ideas of a regular basis and I think this one is ready to be harvested. We could raise awareness massively for a variety of Charities, EVERY DIY label in the UK has a different audience, with enough labels we could reach out to everyone in the UK Hardcore scene.
Hardcore is supposed to be a community, LâAmour Records will always be a community and not a crew. Why not expand out of individual county scenes and make one big one, not exclusive, open to anyone.
(Via my personal account)
UPDATE;
Because of the delay in posting (Half of the UK orders went out today, half go out tomorrow, bear with me, I've got 40 orders from all over the world) and because the zine isn't 18 pages (A few bands didn't get a page to me, it's cool because they were busy with others things which I understand), everyone gets a random Christmas present.
This can range from a patch, to a Nouvelle CD, to a US release Alexander Korda. I put 110% into everything, and each package gets about half an hour spent on it. You get a CD, handpainted with a handpainted cover, TWO zines (One by my very good friend Georgia Hughes), leaflets, a christmas card, a christmas present and random pieces of paper with thank you's/tracklisting etc etc.
I genuinely can't express how thankful I am for the orders, selling it out in 2 days is amazing. I'm currently sorting the money side of things for both Charities.
This has been a massive 70+ hour journey, that has come with A LOT of stress and hurdles, but it's finally done.Â
Believe in everything you do, thank you so much and merry Christmas, I love you all,
L'Amour Records xoxox
The Love Collection;
Is now sold out. The last 3 copies have gone and itâs taken us about 49 hours to sell it out. Massive massive thanks to anyone who picked up a copy. Iâm having discussions with myself about whether I could put myself through it all again for a second pressing but right now it's a faint maybe.
Weâre hoping to be able to ship them on Wednesday, weâre just waiting on a couple of bands pages before we can staple the zine and send them all out!
Weâll hopefully be able to get the money we raised to both Charities before the new year!
THE LOVE COLLECTION
We have 8 left, I made a few fuck up with the covers, so we put 42 online and we'll make up the difference from the other 8.
That means that in less than 24 hours, we have made ÂŁ99 for Charity. That's something we're immensely proud of, and something everybody involved should be proud of.
We're overwhelmed and mind-blown by the response, we've been planning this since we started the label 3 months ago, and it's phenomenal how nice everyone has been to us.
There's a chance of a second press if we sell it out before tomorrow. Spread the word, post a status do whatever. Thank you.

The love collection (again); 4 colourways, hand painted CDs and covers/18 page zine/info about various charities/// First FIVE orders get a free nouvelle CD, US version of the Alexander Korda tape and an Alexander Korda patch. The next 5 orders get a patch. Every package will be special and personal. 8pm. Thanks, these will be sent out as we have the whole zine, hoping to be wednesday.
âThe Love Collectionâ; handpainted CD with handwritten and painted cardboard cover. 18 page zine, handwritten by each band. Leaflets (these are limited as Oxfam unfortunately didnât have enough spare), and a bunch of stuff youâll see when you get it. DIY. (Taken with instagram)
A bunch of stuff included is not shown in this picture. We're happy with how this came out, really happy. Not so happy that the zine isn't finished.
