"You could always try a wig, Yuka-tan."
"I guess, but it wouldn't be my hair, y'know? I was just curious, anyway."

Dangan Ronpa x Persona 3 Crossover!
Did you know? Megumi Toyoguchi voiced Yukari Takeba from Persona3 too! (Actually both games share some VAs…) And since I loved P3 so much I think I’m gonna draw more of these with the rest of the cast.
(I’m dying to draw Naegi in Ken’s clothes asdfshfkhad GDI I can’t neglect work)

"Hm? You mean like Aragaki?"
"Huh? No! I mean... Did you really hear me just now?"

Her eyebrows are slightly drawn together. How dare he claim to forget? How did he have the guts to!? "What are you talking about? You can’t honestl—" Minato. Minato was here too. Could she even blame him, now that she didn’t even know what sort of situation they were in. Both of them here, at the same time? As if that wasn’t confusing enough. What did this mean? She just stares at him for a long time.
"….. Guilt? Are you really sure you don’t remember?"
He stayed quiet for what seemed like forever, not being able to make sense of the words he wanted to say to her. It seemed like whatever he did, whatever note the left off on, was a bad one. How can he make her believe his apology when he has no idea what he’s apologizing for?
This was no good..
"…I don’t, no. I’m sorry.."
As odd and contradictory as it felt, he did look like his entire self was apologizing for something terrible. Something terrible that, indeed, had happened because of him. He'd been her friend back then, and if things had been the same as when they parted ways.. If Minato had been dead. She would have felt something more than confusion. But now everything was upside-down. She had to be careful not to rip any seams. What if i could happen again? Maybe, if he doesn't remember... Maybe it won't... "It's..." She started small and uncertain.
"Don't beat yourself up over it. It's nice to see you too."
…… "… Yeah, I…. I don’t know what to say. Last time we met was such a mess. I don’t even know what it means that you’re here."
"Last time we..I can’t really remember that. I’m sorry, Yukari-san. I’m not..sure why..but, the time we spent together is mostly just a blur to me. I remember who you and the others are, but I can’t remember certain times we shared together.."
”..It hurts a little to admit. For some reason..I feel a terrible guilt.”
Her eyebrows are slightly drawn together. How dare he claim to forget? How did he have the guts to!? "What are you talking about? You can't honestl--" Minato. Minato was here too. Could she even blame him, now that she didn't even know what sort of situation they were in. Both of them here, at the same time? As if that wasn't confusing enough. What did this mean? She just stares at him for a long time.
"..... Guilt? Are you really sure you don't remember?"
"Eyyeah. I sort of heard what you said. All of it. You’re not ACTUALLY gonna do something like that, right, Ryoji-kun?"
"What? Of course not..Forgive me, can I change the subject? It’s so good to see you again..For some reason I feel..relieved, and very happy."
...... "... Yeah, I.... I don't know what to say. Last time we met was such a mess. I don't even know what it means that you're here."
"Um, word of advice? Don’t do that. It’s.. kinda creepy."
"Y-YUKARI-SAN!?"
"Eyyeah. I sort of heard what you said. All of it. You're not ACTUALLY gonna do something like that, right, Ryoji-kun?"
Creeps.
"A love potion? Now that sounds interesting! A potion that brings out the most intense, and wonderful feeling a person can feel..If a liquid can make someone do that, I wonder what else it could make someone do..Ah, you know..I’m not one to cheat, but wouldn’t it be neat if I managed to give every girl on this island a love potion and have them fawn over-"
"Um, word of advice? Don't do that. It's.. kinda creepy."
Potions? Yeah right, as if THAT would work. She eyed a set of bottles and - despite the logic debunking magic - fidgeted uncomfortably. After all, when all was said and done she had experienced things not entirely unlike magic herself.
This one is very pretty, though. Yukari decided to give it some thought, not entirely sure why this vial of swirling glitter called for her attention as much as it did.
Yukari stumbles around a corner and presses against the wall, hand to chest while catching her breath. With Halloween coming up, absolutely everything had transformed. As if people weren't bad enough back home, this place - whatever it was - seemed to have a fondness of taking absolutely everything to extremes. That would explain the decorative skeleton randomly dropping down and scaring her to a sprint... At least she thinks it was decorative.
"Ugh!"
The way he approached her was a mirror of her own movements. That in itself had given her a strange feeling. Something like a premonition. But she did not expect this. There was no way she could have expected this. Arisato Minato had died. She had mourned him. She had worn a black dress, and had to listen to incessous repeats of “I’m sorry for your loss”. She had turned her entire room upside down, and spent sleepless nights with tear stained cheeks and an expression that was, to her, sickeningly similar to Minatos own. She had carried this weight on her shoulders, until she finally.. if only by just a little bit.. felt like she could tuck it under her arm and go somewhere to improve.. Improve at least something. But now he was standing right there in front of her as if none of it had happened. In a similar way, Yukari could feel her past self knocking on the back of her mind, wanting to spring out and sigh loudly at Minatos carefree nature. If it had only been that simple. Instead there was this. What was this? A happy reunion? A haunting, perhaps? She needed to say something. What if he disappears again? I need to say something. The realization that she needs to act forces her body to wake up. Her surroundings start to lay over her again like a heavy blanket, and she becomes aware of the heat in her eyes forcing them to well up with tears that spill. "You…. It’s really you?" Shaky breath.
"You’re.. alive?” I’m afraid to blink. Don’t vanish. Let me see you in front of me for a little longer.
With a careful study of her face, he concluded that she was indeed troubled. Clearly there was something about his presence that made her feel uncomfortable, even though he had not the slightest idea of what that could be considering he has never met this woman in his life.
So, what was that odd feeling of familiarity?
He decided to stay quiet at her first question, standing with his hands in his pockets as a slight breeze took his hair with it.
As she breathed out the second question however, his eyes widened. It wasn’t like Minato to show any sort of emotion on his face..But this, from her..Made him feel a little more uneasy than it would from someone else.
There wasn’t any words he could come up with. It was an odd thing to say to someone upon first meeting them, wasn’t it? No ‘whatever’ or ‘I don’t care’ could answer her in a way that made sense.
After a silence between them that felt like forever, he spoke in his same tone of voice, trying to regain his composure.
"Ah, forgive me, but..Who are you?"
The silence expanded between them and brought slow seconds with it, making it seem like an eternity - even more so; a frozen moment. It was a moment in which Yukari wasn't sure she wanted to be. In front of her; a deceased boy. Familiar in shape, presence, and - after he had spoken - in tone. Tone, tone. Presence. Was he really deceased? Would it be alright to reach out and pinch the fiber of his sleeve like a scared child wanting to confirm her guardian is present?
Like the metaphorical child, her lip quivered again. It bothered her how she did not know the answer to what was going on, and afraid that if she found it, it would be one that crushed her hopes. Minatos eyes widened, and with that the wind settled, as if it gave him permission to speak. Through his lips came the question "Who are you?" Her chest tightened with worry, and a cold feeling dripped down her spine. She took a step forward.
"Who..? What.. What are you talking about? It's me! It's Yukari!"
"Halloween?!"
"No way! I’m gonna stay in my room until it’s over!"
"That’s fine, Yuka-tan. I’ll just text your Monomassager or whatever it’s called scary stories instead!"
"Don't even think about it."
"Halloween?!"
"No way! I’m gonna stay in my room until it’s over!"
”..Have fun.”””
"Don't be sarcastic! It's gonna be WAY better than having to deal with crazy kids wanting to scare each other to death!"
"Halloween?!"
"No way! I'm gonna stay in my room until it's over!"
Yukari shifted around on her tippy toes from left to right, still trying to see the stranger through the blinding light and heavy shade. They turn around to look at her, that much she can make out. "Good, you heard me. I wasn’t sure you did."
She renews the grip on her travel bag and pulls it along after her, the wheels of it making shy clicking noises when she approaches. "I had the map, but it sort of got lost on the way over" The tree and figure it is shielding grow closer, shapes becoming distinguishable. "Could you point me in the right——-" Yukari stops dead in her tracks. Everything around her seems to do the same. There’s no blinding light, there’s no bothersome heat or even sounds of leaves and least of all her own breath. It’s because she sees who’s in front of her. Or rather, what is in front of her. Impossible is the first word that comes to mind. This is impossible, and this isn’t real. Thoughts rush in all directions. Considering every explanation. Had she crashed on the plane? Was she dead? Maybe he had been terribly ill all along. Perhaps it was even a sick, sick joke, and he had come to yell "Surprise"! Her bag drops. Her legs are about to give in. She’s in shock. A small breath. "A-…." Aa. "Arisato..kun?"
…
He listened to what she was saying, even though at first glance it didn’t really seem like it. His usual bored expression told people that he was at least 10 miles away from whatever the conversation was going on in front of him.
As she began to walk towards him, he copied the motion with the sound of grass swishing under his shoes.
She stopped and said his name..In this voice that sounded like she was in complete disbelief. It didn’t make sense to him, why does she sound this way? Why did he notice so quickly, when usually he wouldn’t pick up on it at all? It was odd.
Despite the oddity, Minato didn’t show any surprised expression on his face. He slowed his pace to a halt, looking down at her with his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
"What?"
It could be anything, the fact she knows his name. There wasn’t really a difficulty getting your hands on the list of names of kids in a school setting. For all he knew, she could have spent countless nights studying the attendants here. Some people had nothing better to do.
Just like that, the thought was dismissed from his mind.
..The way she said it.
Arisato-kun..
