Tonight she wanted to go to a club. It was obvious that you said yes to it. You can’t say no to her. Fay knows you hate clubs but when you haven’t seen her in a while you always say yes to her.
After five shots and more than one glass of a cocktail, she was drunk. Theo already brought the third-round shots. Some of your other friends came with you. You all sat in a booth together enjoying yourselves.
She gulped her drink down and started to talk a bit louder even tho they all sat in a quieter corner, “y/n what’s your type? I’m gonna set you up with someone.” She spits out with a giggle.
Your eyes went wide, “my-my type?” You asked to make sure you heard everything right. No one in your friend's group knows about your sexuality. Sure you trust them but you aren’t comfortable sharing it with them.
“I am sure I have some guy friends that are your type,” Theo said, you looked down on your fingers. Fay started to show you pictures of some guys you never saw before. It goes on like this for too long. All your friends showed you some pictures. They don’t know you already have the best boyfriend sitting at home waiting for you.
Theo placed another round of shots on the table. “I need to get home, it's late,” you said and hugged everybody.

When you opened the door you saw your boyfriend asleep on the sofa with his favourite show playing in the background. Luckily you weren’t that drunk and your ride home is only 20 minutes. “Love, wake up,” you whisper softly, kissing the shell of his ear.
It took him a while to open his eyes properly, his hair was messy and he had puffy eyes due to his sleep. He sits up and the first thing Niall does is give you a glass of water he saved for you. He saw the tears in your eyes well. “Oh my love, wasn’t your night out great?” You shake your head. When he saw a silent tear running down your cheek he pulled you in his warm arms. “Wanna talk?” He asked you so sweetly.
His hugs bring you comfort.
He’s so caring, even when you don’t share why you feel like this he comes up with something that makes you feel better.
“I wanna sleep,” you said, gulping down some more water. He doesn’t want you to have a hangover tomorrow. His blue eyes follow every step of your beautiful body. When he snuggled up to you, he heard our sniffing. He rubbed small circles with his thumb on your hot skin.

He noticed that you had something on your mind.
“My love, getting it out always helps. I’m the last one who’ll judge.”
“Just last night was great and then they asked me a question,” you knew getting it out would make you feel a lot better.
Niall was your friend, your first guy friend and you didn’t expect to fall for him. You met him a few years ago. He asked you to hang out sometime and over time you felt for him. He has liked you since day one. He was confused about what was going on. He can’t be in love when you just meet.
It never came up, you never shared your sexuality with someone. You did once and your parents said it’s just a phase. But it wasn’t. It took you so long to figure yourself out. Your friends weren’t a good help. They set you up with guys you didn’t like. Their personality was awful. They didn’t treat you right. You went out with one of them a little longer but ended it after three months. It was the worst situation you had.
But Niall was different. He looked out for you at bars and clubs. He made you feel comfortable around him. No guy made you feel this good about yourself. He was around all these times seeing you so unhappy.
He knew about your secret, he knew you never were in love. He knew you never dated anyone. You never kissed anybody. It doesn't feel right when you have no feelings for the person. Niall made you feel comfortable. You opened up to him about some things but you don’t know how he’ll react to something bigger than just about your issue.
You thought for a long time if it was right to tell him. Last night made you realize that he won’t react disgusted or confused. You feel finally ready to tell him. He made you feel so comfortable. You are tugged to his chest. “I—” you started but stopped. You were nervous to come out. You only did once, what if he won’t accept it?
“Talk to me, what's going on in your pretty head?” He kissed your hair.
You pulled away and held his hand tighter than usual it was the nerves. His thumb moved over your knuckles. You even bring him breakfast to bed if something goes wrong. “Last night my friends asked me what my type is,” you started to get nervous and your voice was quiet.
“I am your type, right?” He asked.
You took a deep breath, “no,” you shook your head. “They started to show me pictures of guys. They wanted to set me up and asked me if this is my type.” He could say something was off with you, he noticed it this morning when you made him breakfast. Usually, you don’t allow him to eat in bed. His brows furrowed. “I’m pansexual,” you spit out.
“I’m so so proud of you, petal.” It felt good to hear someone who’ll accept you for who you are. “You know how much I love you and this won’t change anything,” he kissed your cheeks. “I’ll always love you with all my heart.” You started to cry in his chest. “I didn’t upset you?” He whispers in your ear. Kissing your face afterwards.
“No, you accept me.” You wipe your tears.
“Why shouldn’t I? I accept all your boundaries.” You set some boundaries but only because you never did it. You were scared because you never kissed your boyfriend for a year and a half. You never had your first kiss. You haven’t done a lot of things. Mostly because you weren’t ready or it didn’t feel right which is a different person. “May I kiss you?” He asked kindly, with the hope you finally said yes and you did. He pressed his warm lips against yours. It was new but exciting. He smiled in the kiss guiding you through it. “Breath through your nose,” he whispers in the kiss. “There,” he pulled away. Seeing you out of breath makes him smirk.
“I love you too,” you snuggled more in his warm body.
“May I ask something else?” You nod, “you don’t look if you find a person attractive or?”
The kiss has made you fuzzy, “I only look for some things like your hair, and eyes and you have a good way to dress. You looked clean. I like the way you smell.” She pressed her nose into his chest.
“But you feel for my personality?” You nod your head.
It was a lazy Sunday morning, you don’t have plans for the day. You continue to kiss Niall’s lips which ended in a makeout session. His hands wander down your bum, he gave it a squeeze that made you giggle. “I’m so proud of you for coming out to me.” He kissed you once again and held you close to him.
