Mobile Games to Play If You Need to Pass the Time

Neko Atsume- cute game. collect cats
Plants vs. Zombies- we all know what this is. it’s so fun, also the rooftop levels are genuinely really difficult
Love Nikki- a dress up game basically but it has a plot and it’s genuinely pretty fun tbh, recommended for sure
Two Dots- no brain required to play
There Is No Grandpa Again!!- it’s entirely in japanese but you don’t need to know any japanese to play. it’s kind of a puzzle game??? uh i don’t even know but it’s really addicting and fun
Magic Piano- it’s that one app by smule. idk it’s fun if you ask me, although you have to watch ads like a lot
Aquapark.io- another brainless game to play. the levels are all practically the same but i play it for hours sometimes
Templerun 1 & 2- you know what this is. whichever version you prefer just go for it. honestly pretty sick, i had a like 20 minute long run one time and felt like a god after
Plague Inc.- very fun and realistic. literally can get so frustrating but also exciting?? idk but i think this one costs money but still definitely go for it if you can
Daddy Long Legs- a little frustrating and hard to adjust to but really fun and cute. you can get some funky outfits
Murder in the Alps- fun iSpy type game? puzzles too. surrounds some murder mystery type things! energy runs out pretty quickly though, so you can only play maybe 15 minutes at a time
Bricks Breaker Quest- there’s so many versions of this app, this is just the version i have since i like the colors. it’s the one where you shoot little balls at numbered blocks to destroy them
MarioKart- the controls are a little weird to be honest with you but it’s pretty fun and there’s a ranked thingy each week. good for competitive people
PUBG MOBILE- a shooty shooty game if you’re into those. i’ve been playing for almost a year now and it’s genuinely pretty fun. you can get fun outfits and it’s not that hard to get good at it. FPP and TPP. battle royale type game
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp- i know some people like it and some people don’t but either way it’s cute and a good time passer. i love normal animal crossing games more, however this is still a fun alternative and i love collecting furniture and redecorating!
Solitaire- any solitaire app will do. if you like card games i’d recommend it! pretty chill and relaxing :)
Sudoku- literally i love sudoku so much. it’s kinda hard sometimes but trying to get shorter and shorter times is always hella fun
Toreba- crane game app. you get a free ticket or two every day so you have at least one free play every day! you do not have to spend money and there’s free worldwide shipping of prizes every 7 days after your last shipment! i’ve won once and got a cute little bunny plush
Pokémon GO- not always very fun if you’re in a rural area but it can motivate you to go on walks (please stay away from other people if you go on a walk though!! social distancing!!)
Call of Duty Mobile- another shooty shooty game, but this ones also fun. this one is like the kind where you’re against another team and you have to kill each other a certain amount of times to win. FPP. pretty fun.
Slither.io- pretty sure we all know what this is too. it’s the game where you eat the little dots and stuff. would recommend playing against AI because playing online is super janky and slow.
BitLife- you can create your own person and live a little life basically. there’s fun little badges you can get for living certain lifestyles
Mahjong- it’s that one game where you match tiles that sometimes have little chinese characters on them. really fun- some of the apps are a little weird though so you might have to search for a good one.
Woody Block Puzzle- basically put a bunch of square and line blocks into a big square thing. once you get a full row you get points
Origame- a little game where you basically just fold paper in certain ways to fit in the lines. not actually very origami-like but it’s calming and brainless.
Color Fill 3D- don’t even know how to describe this one. it’s pretty brainless and fun. can get a little frustrating at times.
Word Swipe Puzzle- making words in certain orders basically? it’s pretty fun- i don’t really remember why i undownloaded it but i enjoyed playing it
Color Bump 3D- another brainless game. the levels end up repetitive but you can play for hours if you have nothing to do.
Tetris- literally i love tetris so much. sometimes gets hella frustrating though
Tomb of the Mask- cute little game with sort of a pixel-like style! collect coins and get to the end of the level. definitely fun to play. last time i played i finished all the levels- i remember it said they’d be adding more. i haven’t checked on that yet to be honest
Line Link- i remember getting this cus my grandma used to play it. it’s so fun though, literally just connecting colored dots without crossing the lines
Pixel Art- Color by Number- basically what the title says. really chill, I’d recommend listening to a soft playlist if you’re gunna use this app. i used to use this during school when i had anxiety
PAC-MAN- literally just pac-man on mobile. pretty fun, there might be limited levels or plays though if i remember? not quite sure
Roll the Ball- slide puzzle- this ones pretty fun- it gets really hard as you go further
Word Cookies- making words but like cookie/baking themed? not the words- just the aesthetic.
Rolling Sky- rolling a ball around on a platform and avoiding obstacles. usually has a weird techno song playing during each level
Mystic Messenger- i’ve never played this but everyone tells me to. check it out if you have like a lot of time i’m pretty sure? idk i think it’s dating virtual dudes
My Horse Prince- just play it.
Best Fiends- you’ve all seen the ads for this. genuinely pretty fun for awhile but i always get tired of it after a few weeks
2048- the number game where you connect numbers together with little boxes. there’s a lot of versions of this if the original isn’t your taste. also if you have a computer you can probably find one with fandom themes of almost any fandom
Doodle Jump- literally i forgot this gam existed but basically you’re a little alien that’s jumping up sand avoiding obstacles and falling. so fun.
Alien Hive- literally so cute and fun. i love the style of this game. basically you’ve got all these aliens and you have to shuffle them around to match them together to evolve the aliens
Helix Jump- literally almost every level is the same. but you spin a cylinder to get the ball to the bottom. i used to have over 1000 levels done in this game
Hole.io- you are a hole and you eat all of the buildings in an area. idek. pretty fun though.
