I'm currently looking for a full-time job right now but once I find one, my plan is to come back and make gifs again! I miss it and want to get Photoshop again <3

This year, I want you to be unapologetic when you create.

Don’t apologize for your writing, drawing, music, designs, films, sculptures, cosplays, knitting, sewing, cooking, and anything else I might’ve missed.

Don’t apologize for the quality.

Stop being afraid of what you can accomplish. You might think you can do so much better, well guess what? You will. You’re always improving. But if you start to apologize for the best you can do at this moment, then you might restrain yourself, stop yourself from taking risks that will help you.

I know this is a hard thing to stop. I do it all the time. When I submit art to people that I’m not so confident about, I’ll apologize in advance.

This year, I challenge you, and myself, to stop doing it.

Listen, you will always be improving. If you don’t create because you’re not “good enough” you will never create.

Everyone sucked at one point. Yes, even your favourite fandom artist. Yes, even the famous artist you look up to. Yes, even the animators of your favourite cartoon. Yes, even the writer who’s book fundamentally changed your worldview in middle school. Every artist you’ve ever looked up to was once awful and you know what? Good for them.

You are not “too old” to learn an art form. You want to try an instrument? Try it. Yes, it’ll sound bad for a while. It’ll sound good eventually!!

Whatever you do, it will be yours. That’s enough. I promise.

I look at all my gif posts of a game I played and loved for 12 years and my heart hurts. I haven’t played since the terrible things that came out about activision and I will never touch it again in honor of all the women who were hurt and betrayed by the company. But it hurts letting go not just the game itself but the memories that come with it. I met my best friend WoW in Mists of Pandaria and we’ve been friends ever since. I miss my warrior terribly she got me through so many bad days, it is and will always be my favorite class to play. And I miss the story, and am saddened that over the years the writing hasn’t been the same like it used to. I can’t get myself to try or play any other MMO’s I think that I’m just done with the genre all together. I’m not sure who still stays active on here but I want to thank all the artists of tumblr who helped me and many others bring life to our characters and keep those memories alive long after we’ve quit the game. <3
