âUhhh okay? Man this is more complicated than I thought.â Usually Damien was more of a âdoing the dirty workâ kind of guy. He was the one out there doing shit and not using some shadow magic to get what he wanted. Hence why he was scratching his head to even think about what his demands were. Punching was just so much easier than thinking.
âOkay letâs make him sign the casino to me. I have no idea what to do with it but I bet I can squeeze some money out of it.â Either way it was going to be useful. Even if Damien just decided to run a monster truck through it.
âSo what do we do? Do you check what heâs afraid of or should we just make him believe that his eyes are exploding and his teeth are growing backwards through his skull?? My dads did that once with some dude, seemed pretty efficient.âÂ
Oz now made quiet plans to do some research on how the running of a casino works, just in case the business aspect was something Damien didnât like some aspects of. Though...perhaps he would at that. Damien did have depths, he knew that very well, and he wasnât stupid. Impulsive, reckless, but not stupid.
âBy tomorrow evening, y-you will be a casino owner,â Oz promised with perhaps a trace of smugness. He knew his crafts well, and with Damien helping this one ought to be potent...and quite different. He was excited, perhaps later Damien might help him with one of his nightmare sculptures. He could give the result to the demon for his room.
Ozâs eyes closed. They did so rarely when he was awake, it was not as if he had a need to blink. The fears were there, like a phone number he needed to only concentrate on a bit to remember, like text from a book heâd recently read, just beyond reach and then there. It was almost alarming how easy this aspect was, and he looked now at Damien again.
â...Fire.â Oz was resisting the urge to grin openly, wary of Damienâs sanity upon seeing his internals.  â...All that he owns being reduced to ash, and himself being left in poverty. He keeps small dogs, and mistreats them as well because when young he was attacked by a neighborâs dog.â

hellragerâ:
âSHIT! You serious??â Immediately, Damien hopped off his sitting position. He almost knocked over the mug of coffee, it it wasnât for his tail catching it last minute and placing it carefully back down. Just to think he could be doing something as metal as this too! Well, everything he did was metal and probably more than this. But this was new territory and Damien wanted to master it.
âLetâs fucking do it, Oz! Letâs make the most fucked up nightmare. We should pick a target that will come in handy for use. You know, for blackmail and shit, someone who we can use sometime.â
He approached Oz, placing a hand on his chin to think for a moment. âWhat about the owner of the Casino? I got kicked out for cheating, so this way we can squeeze some money out of that dickwad.âÂ
Damien was already rubbing his hands together, snickering darkly for he felt like he had just prepared the greatest plot of all times.Â
Oz appreciated not having to clean a coffee stain out of the carpet, but right now his body seemed almost electrified by the concept of Damien being so excited to do something with him...and Damien still being so excited by something he did, something he was good at and thought was cool. Heâd always thought of his nightmares as art but having the demon think they were too...
âHaving someone else p-put in some creativity will be interesting. Do be careful, however, they t-tend to be very greedy for power. It may take you surprise at first...oh, l-like when we were raising those extra dimensional leeches in biology class.â Three of their classmates had needed to be rushed to the emergency room, since parts of their souls had been removed along with all of their life energy and powers.
The being thought for a moment about the target Damien proposed. Normally this was strictly business for him, very rarely revenge or blackmail, but...well...it was hard to say no to Damien. And why not anyway?  âD-damien, if you liked we could convince him to hand over his casino to y-you. Or only nominally run it but hand you the p-profits.â Ozâs eyes were starting to glow slightly again with a little malice.
He held out his hand in the manner with which heâd started his previous nightmare.  â...Decide what your demands will be. I will show y-you how to shape it as we go.â And keep a bit of a lid on the power itâd be getting from Damien, just in case it started draining him too much. Not that he didnât have faith in the demon, but he knew his greedy, bratty nightmares well.
Shit Iâve said to my cat; sentence starters
âWhat are you doing?â
âWhat did you knock over?â
âDonât eat that!â
âWhatâs in your mouth? What do you have in your mouth?!?â
âPlastic isnât food.â
âHow did you get up there?â
âAre you stuck? You got yourself up there, you can get down.â
âI have to pee â can you move?â
âItâs so early, please stop.â
âI havenât seen you in hours. Where were you hiding?â
âI know youâre trying to tell me something, I just donât know what.â
âDonât be mean! Iâm just trying to love you!â
âYouâre just the cutest thing ever.â
-points to mirror-Â âThatâs you!â
âIâm trying to take a picture of you, please stop moving.â
âYou havenât moved in hours.â
âHow can you be such a bed hog? Youâre so tiny!â
âYou have the cutest nose.â
âLook at those feet-ies!â
âYouâre like a gargoyle up there.â
âDonât bite me, thatâs rude.â
âYou look so comfortable. I wish I could be that comfortable.â
âAll you do is sleep and eat. Thatâs the life.â
âYou are so lazy. You would not survive in the wild.â
âCould you blink, or something? Youâre starting to freak me out.â
âThose squirrels look like theyâre doing something shifty.â

hellragerâ:
Damien watched this whole show in utter silence. He had even stopped sipping from his mug as things were getting heated. The screams, the nightmarish images dancing across the walls, the suffering and pain. It kinda reminded him of home. It also reminded him of how much he loved watching weaklings suffer - preferabily by his hand but this worked too. This was like.. A visual audio track to relax to. Some people listened to the sound of rain or cats purring, Damien would listen for hours to the screams of the suffering. ( After all, thatâs what he fell asleep to every night as a child, so it had some fond memories ).Â
And when Oz was done, Damien was still clinging to the mug without moving it to his lips. He had planned to take a cool sip and give Oz a thumbs up. Because he had no doubt that this was going to be amazing. But instead of that, he ended up just staring at Oz, lips pressed together, eyebrow furrowed and a light shade of purple blush on his features.Â
âThat was really fucking HOT.âÂ
He just said it how it was. No reason to beat around the bush, give Oz some half assed praises or pretend this wasnât as hot as it was. Nah, Damien was an impulsive demon who acted on instinct. And when somethingâs hot, it deserved to be called out for being hot.Â
Oz turned stark white. Heâd actually turned to give Damien something of a bow, although this had been far from his finest creation it was still a lot of fun to show someone who could watch without going insane. Having Damien call him hot, however, or at least the thing heâd just done, wasnât really something he was prepared to deal with and for a moment he just stood there staring at the demon, blushing and wondering if heâd heard right.
âUhm. Thank. Thank you.â This time he genuinely stumbled over his words, unsure of what else to say. It wasnât cool at all, Oz wasnât smooth, but he had to say something or theyâd just keep...was Damien blushing?!
âThat w-was not...I mean it was not all that powerful yet, I was going to...build up to something really spectacular...Ah...It is a l-little how I make my fear jewelry, like the dagger earrings I m-made you! Only I use magical metals and mix them with the nightmares...â He was blabbering now, he should stop, did Damien care about this? Possibly? It was...sort of related...and maybe Damien would like his earrings a little more if he knew this was how theyâd been made.
He had another thought that had begun to roll about in his mind...it had started while he was shaping the nightmare, and...well. He had good ideas when he was creating. At least heâd always thought so.  â...You know, with y-your powers...we could likely find a way for you to c-create one with me. If you wanted.â
garret-the-ghoulâ:
Garret was drawn to the outcasts and the rejects, especially the ones he didnât think he could beat in a fight, and recognized that as a double edged sword. He wouldnât become a casual victim of a friendâs violence, but if that friendship soured, it would become personal â and that was so much worse.
His friend Tony the troll, for instance, was an obvious threat â a dumb, hulking baby-eating boulder of muscle and donât-give-a-shit attitude. Oz, though? He was a dark horse. No one would see him coming. Hell, even Garret hadnât pegged him as a threat because the form he took was a bit meek and had a stutter. He would have thought he was more like an introverted Blobert. But now? He seemed like he could turn into Z'Gord if he got high on chimera toxin. He knew Oz didnât even have to lay a hand on him to send him into the fetal position like a little bitch. That was fucking cool. Garret had to rely on his appearance to be intimidating and using his fists and his switchblade to actually fuck somebody up. He kind of envied being able to just render someone defenseless with willpower alone.
Garret didnât need a demonstration, being aware enough of his own fears not to be reminded what anxiety felt like or to subject some innocent classmate to it. Making Gwilliam the Incubus afraid of his own dick might be funny though.
âSince youâre Fear,â he said, âyou probably know what everyone is afraid of already, donât you?â
He wasnât asking for a parlor trick Miss Cleo moment where Oz would read his mind and tell him what he was afraid of. He was just curious how vulnerable everyone unknowingly was when they met him. He imagined you could tell a fucking lot about a person by what they were afraid of. Or what they werenât afraid of.Â
His own fears were mostly abstract â rejection and loneliness, mostly. To a lesser degree, he was also afraid of being dismembered or disfigured in a way that made him even uglier than he already was. He valued what was left of his face. He didnât want to go walking around with his cheek torn off like Brian did. Some undead were blessed with regeneration, but like a zombie, he wasnât. He didnât want to end up sentient body parts in a jar on a desk. What he wasnât afraid of was dying. He expected when he was on deathâs doorstep he might skim over the five stages of grief, but he kind of expected to just go down giving the world two middle fingers. Heâd already died once, after all. Not that he could remember it. âAre you drawn to people with more fears than others?â he asked curiously.Â
Oz was mildly interested in a sophomore standing in front of them who seemed to be growing tumors that dropped off and turned to acidic sludge. It was a unique poison, and he wondered if it was a prank or someoneâs pet gone awry. Heâd have to ask the nurse. Not that he thought heâd get an answer, but maybe while they were making that screeching sound he could sneak a peek at the records.
Thus he at first didnât realize Garret had asked him another question.  âAh, I am sorry!â he apologized hurriedly. Oz was very polite to his friends, at least all but his very closest friends, even if they made fun of him for it. With his closest friends, it was a different story entirely. âWhat...ah.â He shook his head firmly when he realized what had been said.
âNo. I do not...I c-could, but I do not.â He wanted to assure Garret. He would never ever invade his friendsâ privacy like that. There were a few times heâd wanted to, of course, to help them or to adjust a fear so it was less paralyzing, but heâd never ever do it without permission. He valued his friends far too much for anything like that.  âI would never. You can rest assured that I w-will not be looking into your fears, Garret. It is in much the same way that I am n-not perpetually making everyone collapse in terror. Just b-because I have the ability does not mean that it is always âonâ so to speak.â
There was always fear. There would always be fear, everywhere. Where there was life, there was some form of primal fear of its end, entropy was inevitable. Death followed life, and Oz, or rather fear, followed death. It was a natural part of existence. At least here. He wasnât sure if it was a natural part of existence in all places. It was why he was a little iffy on traveling to other dimensional planes. He already did not know if he might someday lose his consciousness, he wished to do nothing to speed the process.
He shook his head to the second question as well.  âNot p-particularly. I know if they have them or are g-generally more afraid than others, of course. I can feel it. But I am n-not really attracted to it in any special way. It is not as if I feed off of f-fear exactly...it is just...me. And I am it. My consciousness, and the b-body I project, are here, but my...self is...everywhere. Always. I am sure you have b-been afraid when I was not present, or before you even knew I existed as myself, Oz. It is p-peculiar to wrap oneâs mind around, I know, but it is...all that I know of my existence.â
garret-the-ghoulâ:
Garret thought about the little bubbles of fear and inwardly referred to them as the âheebie-jeebiesâ. He wondered if Oz became powerful enough whether or not the heebie-jeebies would grow into full sized shadow people. What if they became Ozâs siblings or something? Or could Oz control his own shape and just grow a couple inches taller instead of producing heebie-jeebies, like he was a container that held a certain amount of fear matter? Is that what he was? 'Fear matterâ? He totally made that up.
It sounded like Oz didnât have complete control over them, but who really had complete control over their own bodies? Not that he would liken the heebie-jeebies to a bad hair day or a stomach ache. They were more cerebral than that. He wondered if their behavior was at all connected to Ozâs mood or subconscious desires. Garret didnât always have control over his own emotions. Like his temper. Sometimes it controlled him.
He really wanted to poke one of the heebie-jeebies like the Pillsbury doughboy and see if it went 'hoo-hoo!â but he also didnât want Oz to look at him like he was a fucking degenerate. And then he might tell it to⊠join itself to his psyche? Suddenly the heebie-jeebies looked a little more phallic.
âSo, you can mind fuck people.â That was cool. Fucking scary but fucking cool. And they followed orders! That did kind of make them sound like pets. But who calls the boil on their back their pet? Even if it is sentient. âBut Iâm guessing you donât do that often.â He seemed like a nice kid. Not the type to go around making people lose their shit or piss themselves for the hell of it.
Oz was actually rather pleased with the attention himself. Of course Garret was a bit peculiar in that he hadnât written the shadowy young man off as âthat weird shadow kidâ and a weakling and ignored or tried to bully him, but he was quite surprised at the continued attention. It could be that Garret was looking for a weakness of some sort in him, but there truly wasnât one without some heavy duty multiplanar god magic, so nothing to worry about there. There would always be Fear, thus there would always be Oz. Hopefully.
âUhm.â The term âmind fuckâ bothered him a little. He never really considered that to be what he was doing when he gave someone a new fear or deep rooted phobia.  âI...suppose? Though that is...not t-truly the image I would call up for it. They are phobias, and thus I c-can weave them into a personâs mind and subconscious, as anything from a m-mild discomfort to a debilitating, paralyzing fear.â And he had before. Once a monster slayer group had threatened Vicky and he had decided to indulge himself when Vicky asked he not kill them. They would hardly harm other innocent monsters when they were all deathly afraid of parts of their own body.
He considered it an art form. Delicately reaching into the depths of a personâs consciousness, drawing on some memory or thought, rooting the fear in something that formerly seemed inconsequential, blowing it up into a fear that could destroy a person, blooming like a monstrous flower.
Oz was nice, and quiet. That did not mean he was any better than his friends.
âNot often, no. Only when called for.â Given how often Oz got bullied, that was a statement right there. It took something important for Oz to give someone a phobia. Or occasionally bullshitting with his friends but who didnât do things like that at Spooky? He was surprised Garret hadnât asked for a demonstration yet.
âOf course I can also j-just make someone afraid. Stoke up the fear in their mind with illusion and sounds.â
garret-the-ghoulâ:
âSemi-sentient?â he asked, watching the little shadows. âThey look like they have a lot of personality.â He stopped outside the nurseâs office where students were lined up out the door to be treated for bites, burns, and who knows what else. He glanced down at his leg and got in the back of the line, feeling weirdly out of place among the students in front of him. âSo, theyâre mini-manifestations? If one jumped on me, would I have a panic attack or something?âÂ
âI say semi b-because they are extensions of myself.â He...may not have wanted to go there, but he was now and nobody had ever asked that particular question before.  âThough it seems they have v-very little filter. All immediate desires, no thought for c-consequence or propriety. It is very annoying, and frequently embarrassing.â
They were preening at being focused on, and Oz sighed.  âHowever they also d-do seem to have some small wills separate from mine, or perhaps aspects of my p-personality stripped of context, thus I grant they may have some sentience as well. As I said, I did not come w-with a user manual, so I must figure this sort of thing out on my own.â
He got in line with the ghoul, happy enough to keep him company as they waited for the line to the nurseâs office to die down. Frankly it was a lot shorter than Oz expected, especially on pet day. This was almost like the normal daily line.
âTypically they do not d-disconnect from myself, but if you were to hold one it would n-not bother you unless I directed it to join itself to your psyche.â
kindredkinlessâ:
âItâs for WHAT?â Len shouted, dumbstruck for just a short moment until realization struck him and he rolled his eyes. No school would ever build something that stupid and pointless. Not even this stupid, pointless school. Besides, wouldnât it be kind of weird for a school to encourage that stuff? âŠWouldnât it? Shit, now that heâd bothered to wonder, it was starting to seem all the more likely. But no, it couldnât be really the case. That would just be⊠well, there were a lot of things it would be, but Len preferred to think about pleasuring oneself in a school restroom as little as possible.
âAlright, fine,â Len sighed, glaring down at the shadow before him. âI get it. Itâs a good goof, itâs funny, I recognize that. But uh, in case you werenât aware, thereâs some real pissed off slime people headed this way whoâre probably not too slowed down by becoming jello, because they basically already are jello. So now ainât really the time to hang around and make dumb jokes, yâknow? Câmon, help me find a way to fix this. Iâm begging you.â It wasnât a position he enjoyed being in, but that was what things had come to. Len desperately needed help to solve this⊠unfortunate situation of his, and this wackjob was the only person in sight, which therefore meant they were gonna help out, regardless of whether or not they wanted to.
â...Freshman?â Oz asked with a small frown. What âgoofâ? Only the freshmen didnât know what parts of the school were for, like the outdoor rave or that you didnât go in the gym unless you wanted to be pegged in the head with dodgeballs that might very well be on fire. He pitied him a little. Explained why heâd mess with the blob kids, they were all quite sweet.
âEither that or t-transfer,â he said partially to himself.  âThis is indeed the sex bathroom. Everyone knows that. You may have two b-blob kids down there, actually. I really do think you should j-just apologize, they tend to be very kind and if you explain you d-did not know they should forgive you quickly. It is not as if you were m-messing with the football team, or Vera.â
If he was a new student...well. Oz remembered his first few weeks at Spooky. He supposed he owed it to Vicky and what she did for him to keep this kid from getting himself killed.
garret-the-ghoulâ:
âI wouldnât know, seeing as how I donât go drinking poison in my downtime. But considering how sensitive my stomach is to regular food, Iâd probably get really sickââ Garret answered and felt his cheeks burn when Oz scooped him up. He practically jumped out of his arms, reluctant to be seen as so helpless by anybody â whether it was by Oz or a classmate fleeing past them. âWhoa, whoa! I can walk,â he assured him with a nervous chuckle and walked beside him toward the nurseâs office just because thatâs where Oz wanted to go. Garret would have probably let his leg rot off before being seen in the nurseâs office.Â
He wasnât nervous about being touched by the manifestation of Fear itself and hoped Oz didnât take it that way. But Oz was sort of a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a cute yellow sweater. How had Oz just carried him like he weighed nothing at all? What the hell else was he capable of? âYouâre stronger than you look,â Garret said, grateful Oz wasnât using his powers for evil, and wondered, How fucked would the whole school be if he had Damienâs temperament? Â âHey, uh, would those little things that hang out on you all day be your pets?â Garret asked.
âYou w-will not be if your organs start melting,â Oz pointed out calmly.  âI do not know if you have a f-functioning bloodstream, but I thought it better that the poison not have more opportunity to work through your system.â But if Garret didnât want to be carried...well alright he could force him, if he wanted to, but he didnât. If Garret wanted to melt or something, that was his choice and heâd scoop up what was left and take it to the nurse to be resurrected.
He was pretty sure that was how spider poison worked, melting insides into a kind of soup for the spider, but he couldnât swear to that.
Oz did appreciate questions about himself, though. They pleased him. People normally werenât terribly interested.  ââI am. I am stronger than m-most things.â Everything. He was stronger than nearly everything, except possibly Zoe, but since Zoeâs schtick had been sowing fear and Oz was fear, fundamentally she made him stronger. It was a nice feeling sometimes, knowing that if shit ever really hit the fan then he could protect his friends.
The phobias began to dance at being mentioned and he flicked one to make them stop.  â...No. They are...b-bubbles of power. I have a large amount of unused power, after all there is fear everywhere always, t-to different levels. Especially in a high school. So they are...bits of unused potential. It is strong, so it m-manifests into a semi-sentient state. As far as I know, I d-did not come with a user manual.â
lcbotomyâ:
Lobo thought for a moment, his eyes looking to the left. âAwâŠI dunnoâŠâ He looked back down at his tiny boyfriend. He sighed. âOh, alright fine, I canât resist that face.â He smiled, ruffling Ozâs hair and giving him a peck on the cheek.Â
Lobo could really be such a sweetheart, even if he came off as gruff. Oz smiled with his little white eyes and patted Loboâs arm.  âThank you d-dear. Do not worry, it will be fun! I am quite skilled, my p-partner and I have won many competitions, so you will n-not have to worry about anything. Just let me lead.â
It was a little unusual for Oz to say anything like that, but in this case, it was true.
@lcbotomy answered your ask: "Lobo, would you like to come to dance class with...
âAre you certain you would not c-care to join me? I do have to practice, as there is a tournament coming up, but I do not d-doubt it would be fun, and our instructor is very patient.â
Oz smiled up at the massive alien. He was unsure what Loboâs reaction to his dance partner would be; a gorgeous banshee with...splendid assets.
garret-the-ghoulâ:
âIt wasnât a giant spider,â Garret said, âat least, not entirely.â He knew spider venom basically turned their food into jelly. He examined the bite on his calf â two puncture wounds â but they werenât bleeding. He was pretty sure heâd be fine. Other people though? Or their innocent pets? He didnât want the death of an innocent bunny on his conscience. âYou know that Sasquatch, Henry? Well, heâs a giant hairy asshole. I knew he created this spidersnake in Biology during the species-splicing quarter and kept it as a pet. He was talking about how it died after a week and he buried it in his backyard. So, I figured, what better way to give him a giant âFuck youâ than to steal his dead pet and make it my UNdead pet? I skipped first period today to dig it up. Found it in a giant shoebox and raised it from the dead.â Necromancy was one of the few classes Garret excelled in. âSo, the good news is⊠itâs undead, so maybe its venom is all dried up. That or because Iâm undead, the venom doesnât work the same on me. Necrosis on an undead is redundant. The bad news is⊠itâs pissed off and I donât know where it went.â
Several pets were already causing havoc around the school, and Oz was fairly certain most of them could defend themselves. The ones that couldnât would be viciously defended. Most of his friends had a soft spot for really sweet pets.
He looked at the wound as well, however, kneeling to frown at it. He really couldnât tell if Garret was suffering from the bite, but he also wasnât sure Garret would be able to tell until he passed out or something. He clearly didnât know whether or not the creature was actually dangerous.
â...Let us g-go to the nurse,â he said calmly, not really listening too much to the general backstory of the current stupid decision he was now dealing with. He stole someoneâs dead pet and raised it for...reasons. Whatever. There were screams coming from down the hallway and one of the walls was bulging outward, so it was probably time to relocate.
âI thought normal p-poisons did not affect you because you were undead.â He spoke almost conversationally as he picked the ghoul up and began to carry him off to the nurseâs office.
kindredkinlessâ:
@loveyourfears (continued)
There was something unnerving about hearing that shadow of a man speak. Was he speaking? Was it someone else Len couldnât see? It was hard to say. There was no mouth Len could see on the guy, and nothing moved when he spoke. The voice sent chills down his spine, and not the good kind of chills. As much as the voice compelled him to answer, Len knew better. Who was he? That was a hell of a question to ask, especially when Len had fucked up really bad like this. Sure, he stuck out quite a bitâ even among monsters, Len towered over most of themâ but it wasnât like this guy knew who he was. If he didnât know who Len was, then he wouldnât know who to blame things on.
âI tried to turn the toilet water into instant jello and there was some kinda toilet slime or something in there,â Len hastily explained, intentionally skipping over the whole ânameâ part. âTheyâre real pissed at me, and I dunno, but youâre kinda between them and me right now, so either help me fix this or help me run, âcuz shitâs about to hit the fan. And I mean that literally, because I used the toilet first. Without flushing.â
Oz casually looped a strand of shadow around the other studentâs waist, so he couldnât run off and leave Oz himself with the blame should the janitor show up. Or he could use him as a meat shield to keep his clothes from getting dirty if the toilet actually did explode with jell-o and poop. It probably would, it definitely wouldnât be the most outlandish explosion this school had seen. Probably not even semi lethal unless ingested.
âWhy?â he asked mildly. Oh there was a...oh dear. A slime student in the toilet. What a nasty thing to do. The slime kids were usually quite gentle students. He frowned at the stranger.
âWhy did you go in this restroom anyway? The poor f-fellow was likely masturbating. This one is n-not for actually using to relieve oneself anyway, it is for sex. You have to use one of the other ones for excretion. Y-you ought to apologize.â
"Help. Help, help help help." From ya boi Len
@kindredkinless
âThat w-will require context. I cannot just promise indiscriminate help, even grade school students know better than to j-just promise something without knowing what they are promising first. That is why all the f-fae become lawyers, you know, so they can trap you into something that d-does not really sound like a promise but argue that it was.âOz finished this lecture all while watching his classmate, trying to place if he was indeed a classmate or from one of the other grades or if he was another random that had stumbled into this school or dimension without warning. That did happen a lot. It was how theyâd gotten Zoe, after all. Sort of.
âWho are you?â
Today, Oz is...
Well alright today Oz is the lamest dork ever, like most days, but today heâs proud of himself and doesnât give a shit.
He cooked all weekend and today heâs laying out a full banquet in the cafeteria on the opposite side from the lunch counter. And itâs food thatâs actually fucking good.
The cafeteria workers are glaring at him and he is defiant.
For once everyone gets to actually eat well.
