ALWAYS REBLOG WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS PLEASE; ITS SO MUCH MORE THAN IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE. IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO SOMEBODY AND EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THIS IN THE SAME LIGHT, SOMEONE MIGHT. INFACT YOU REBLOGGING THIS COULD STOP SOMEONE TAKING THEIR LIFE TONIGHT.
I know I’m not really active anymore but here

Me: *shows basic human decency to cashier
Cashier: ??!?! Thank you! You’re the nicest person ever!
Me: are you ok
Reblog if politeness to retail and service workers is important to you.
honestly
my anxiety started off with me being occasionally nervous for no reason so i just tried to shrug it off but when i couldn’t, i knew there was something up. Then it was summer, i cried so much. I felt so many negative emotions and i didn’t know how to deal with them. School started again and i was terrified. Terrified of people and the world. My thoughts were so negative and toxic. My life was upside down all bc of the changes brought from my anxiety. I didn’t even feel like the same person anymore. I’d think what if I offend someone today, what if i make someone uncomfortable today, what if i hurt someone’s feelings today, what if i lose my friends today, what if i can never get over these feelings, what if i can’t..., what if i fail, what if i let people down?
Anxiety is terrible and there are variations of it. Everyone experiences it differently. My therapist taught me that attaining a healthier attitude and mindset takes time and work. Hype yourself up. Make yourself tea or do something nice for yourself. Combat your negative thoughts. My therapist helped me realize that my mindset was negative and toxic for a long time and that affected every aspect of my life. It takes time and work to become healthier. It takes fear and strength. It takes tears and getting back up on your feet. It takes allowing yourself to open up to people. It takes everything to achieve your goals but you can do it all, if you believe you can. Believing in yourself and loving yourself, life, and those around you are so important to living healthier.
in retrospect, yikes
Shout-out to people studying with a mental illness.
You’re doing this with half your brain tied behind your back and that’s pretty badass
Use y=mx+b to calculate the slope of the line you just crossed
