Life update after 6 years since my last post here; i graduated med school got engaged on the same day!!!
Peter knew exactly what l've always dreamed of; an oval-shaped diamond because it flatters my fingers so beautifully, set in white gold just like I wanted.
We've been together for almost 12 years, and I always told him there was no need to rush, especially since that my main focus right now is my career. What mattered most to me was that someday he'd get me my dream ring - and he did. Pero sobrang unexpected talaga, as in!!!!
Hayyy. This ring feels like a sweet reward for that 15-year-old Gek who used to feel a little envious of couples who could eat at fancy restaurants while Peter and I were in the province, happy with our usual Jollibee dates - dates l often paid for myself. And now, after all these years, he never stops spoiling me, this ring being just one of the many ways he shows his love.
My love, I am so proud of the man you have become and the man you're still becoming. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
