I really wish it wasn’t so common place to act as though Hal didn’t care about Huey at all.

Especially when you consider things only went so bad for him because he cared so much about him that thinking he played any part in his suicide is what made him completely abandon Emma.

Like I don’t care if someone dislikes Huey but acting like Hal hates or vilifies his father? That’s a wild misunderstanding of their entire relationship with one another.

It makes me sad to see people ruin a whole part of his character because they have to project their own preferences to make him palatable.

Kaz vs Strangelove billiards

I think Strangelove is absolutely washing that man. It’s been forever since she’s even played but Bibo pretty much begs her to unwind just a little and Kaz becomes a casualty.

The amount of people who cannot spell otacon is absolutely baffling i have seen so many different misspellings today goodness

i think it’s always so funny(actually extremely frustrating) liking a character that the fandom has just decided to make the worst person out of when it’s not how they are at all.

I will never forget the time someone made a guy homophobic because it’s already a character people hate so of course he’s like that.

ooc stuff can be fun but it just gets sad when it starts being what people actually think of the character especially because when you don’t see them like that people act like you’re making them a dindu or being easy on them

new pet peeve I have just learned about

HUEY HAS THE MULLET, HAL'S HAIR IS MORE OF A BOB

Hal's hair is NOT as long as Huey and does not fwip like his fathers and I am tired of pretending like I dont have the eyes to see it.

Hal's part also is not dead center like Huey's and his hair is just in general way shorter all around.

I like Huey too much as a dad to hate him. I think his relationship with both Emma and Hal is so much more complicated because despite everything, For Hal, Huey was his all for much of his life and for Emma, the time before her mom decided to fuck it up were some of the best.

I like that period of time when things were "perfect" and for Huey I love that he destroyed himself after failing to see trouble in paradise. The fact that Hal let himself be traumatized so as not to ruin that until he realized it wasn't feasible and Huey subsequently being so distraught and disappointed in his own failings that he couldn't reconcile with Hal because after everything he's been through, fucking up the one last chance he had at normalcy, both for himself and his child just made him entirely disillusioned to the point of wanting to destroy whatever he could.

I like the fucked up little man who's biggest sin is being weak.
