These scars. I'm not proud of them. But one thing I know for sure is I'm proud of what I've gone through with it. I've surpassed a wave of emotions that created so many confusions in my head. I didn't let it get through me to end something I know greater things would come upon.

Dear 18-year-old-me,

You’ve made mistakes not just once but repeatedly. Because you thought that things would fall through the right happenings in the right time. But as long as the days passed, nothing seemed to be clear but you getting used by someone. Someone who doesn’t even blink an eye when your friends are around. It’s time for you to stop chasing and longing for someone who doesn’t deserve you when your the one who tries to do your best all the time.

Wake up from this dream of yours and face reality. It’s ugly, but I know you could conquer it. Ups and downs are normal, your real friends will be there for you no matter what happens. Stop chasing people and let the one who wants you so bad chase you down. Let that person know your past mistakes, all your flaws and see for yourself if he could accept you for who you have been for the past year.

You are strong, but it’s never wrong to break down and cry once in a while. You’re more than you think you are, and i know that there’s more things your haven’t learned about yourself yet. Just be patient.
