I decided we finally needed a separate account where we can rant and ramble about the Yard and related creators. But first, allow us to introduce ourselves:

We are the Little Duck Sys, you can call us Ducky or Kaz collectively. We are 20 years old. The Yard has been our special interest for almost two years now and we desperately need friends who enjoy it as well!

General warning for this account: we do dabble in RPF, so if that bothers you, this is probably not a space for you :)

Thinking about… Nick doing his partners’ hair.

Carefully parting Ludwig’s hair, ensuring that it bleaches equally so that whatever color chat has chosen this time won’t come out patchy.

Standing with his back against the bathroom counter, ruffling Aiden’s freshly cut hair at 2 in the morning because he couldn’t find time to go to a professional.

Gently working shampoo through QT’s hair as she soaks in the tub after a long day, washing away product and stress all the same.

Sitting on a blanket at the beach, all but attacking Slime with sunscreen, because he does not want to hear him complaining about being sunburnt.

Nick taking care of his partners through small acts of service.

Okay, so this is actually something that I've been thinking about all day!!

Ludwig definitely is the kind of person that does side hugs and daps when he's not regressed but then tries to fuse to your lungs when he is

Aiden always assumed that he was a caregiver, to the point where he didn't bother to get tested and only learned he was regressing when he moved into the first house with Lud, Nick, and Anthony

Blaire has a lot of trauma that she unpacks by taking care of the littles, giving them what she couldn't get when she was growing up through spoiling them with movie nights and sweets

Nick calls Ludwig and Aiden "little man" and Anthony "little/baby bear" when he's taking care of them in public but has special names for them in private (Ludwig is "germer" or sprout in French, Aiden is "sweetpea" and Anthony is "bubble")

Before Swift went deaf he loved baby time, now he prefers to nap away from it all so he doesn't get startled

Smash and Mario Kart are actually banned for little time because it makes them think too much of their adult jobs or will accidentally make them regress when they're at a tournament

Blaire has very infrequent regressions and will only ever let Slime take care of her, she cries uncontrollably if anyone else even tries

Nick had the most stable childhood so doesn't regress but fucking loves being a caregiver and gives it his all

One time when left unattended, Ludwig convinced Aiden and Anthony to make the entire living room a pillowfort. Nick was amused when they came back from the store, Blaire was not

Can't handle Lud checking each candy for peanuts so that Aiden doesn't get a bellyache.

Slime and Nick over here doing a 3 part lecture series on how to eat fun dip and Lud is putting sweets directly on Aidens tongue like secret lovers at a picnic in the park.

Like, can we stop being close, intimate friends for five minutes? I'm trying to take notes for the test later.
