Can yall please stop saying how Jon HAD to tell the truth and that Dany was being entitled by asking him to keep it a secret? I’m sorry but it’s not JUST about her wanting the throne for herself (though she does, and is perfectly within her rights to be ambitious). It’s about her own safety. As soon as Varys found out Jon was an option he swiftly flipped on Dany and is literally plotting her murder, just like he plotted it with Robert in the past. Dany’s life is in jeopardy because of this information. It’s been made abundantly clear no one else cares about what Jon wants and whether or not he wants the throne. The information itself is volatile and is being used to systematically destroy Dany. And we know from the leaks that when she tries to fight back Jon is apparently going to literally murder her for it. So stop acting like he’s the victim just because she asked him to keep the secret that would put her life in danger. He told his family even knowing Sansa has shown open and unwarranted hostility to Dany from the jump. Sansa is now a schemer just like the schemers she grew up with and Jon refused to see it. He let Dany down just like every man in her life has, and I won’t forgive him for it.
