Can you imagine the rage he would feel? The frustration? The horror?
He had a year of his life stolen from him, and he then has to deal with the idea that Rook was almost imprisoned for all eternity in a place designed to hold gods. I can only imagine that when Spite tells Solas that he's a liar who hurt Rook, he is voicing everything Lucanis has been thinking and stewing over.
Honestly, Rook is probably lucky Lucanis doesn't stab Solas when they meet again. Almost losing the love of his life to a prison - seeing them suffer the same fate that he did - would feel incredibly personal.

I can never escape the egg can I? I am trapped in a hellscape of my own creation. This may be controversial Solas pisses me off and I hate him (I think he's a really compelling character and I always redeem him if I can) I want to punch him in the face....again (that one scene in inquisiton :))
