Hello! I’m still here, I just fell asleep pretty earlier yesterday and I had to focus on a unit test this morning. I’m free now though!

I’m Luca Paguro! Or.. a Luca kinnie, actually. I figured I oughta make a blog, since there isn’t really much kin content for the movie out there yet. It’s only been out for a few days, but still!

I’m probably just gonna post lots of mems and some art, but who knows ^^ I’m just having fun

I’m okay with doubles, just don’t reblog any of my art saying “me” please, since chances are some of the drawings are based off of mems

If I do end up making mem-related art I’ll probably do a reblog to talk about it more in depth. I usually avoid talking about kin stuff on my art posts, since I know it makes a lot of people uncomfortable

I’d love to hear from sourcemates! :D I miss everyone so so much, I’d even be willing to say hi to Ercole at this point X) If any of my mems sound familiar, feel free to let me know, and even if they aren’t I’d still be happy to hear about your mems! My DMs are always open! (You can even stop by to talk about space!! I’d be happy to nerd out about it with you!)

Um,, Hiya. I know I’m not active much on this blog anymore but I saw your sourcecall- I’ve been looking at your memory posts and I just get,,, really emotional? I don’t know if I want to thank you or what but I really felt like I should say something - An Alberto kinnie who’s been crying over mems a little *too* much this week (/lh)

Aww 🥺 I’m sorry if I made you cry or anything, but hello!! I get that, yeah,, I have a Google doc where I write down every mem I’ve ever had and I can’t help but cry a little bit when I read through them all again

Also! Sorry I haven’t been too active either, school has been really, really hectic lately and I haven’t had much time to myself, much less time to spend online. But!! It’s really good to hear from an Alberto, you’re actually the first one I’ve ever met :D If you ever wanna talk about mems or anything then my DMs are open (or please tell me if they’re not, I’m not too familiar with social medias), you can drop by anytime ^^

Oh! I forgot to post this earlier, but I made a little moodboard! It’s nothing all the impressive, I was just having fun

Made a drawing!

I’ve been needing more practice lately, so I decided to draw Luca’s home ^^ Or.. the home in the ocean, at least. Maybe I’ll add more to it later, since it seem a little lonely right now

Is there a way to keep Tumblr from desaturating my drawings..?

The one from the post is on the left, whereas the one on the right is what it’s supposed to look like. Is there any way to keep it from doing that?

Anyways, living in the ocean was… boring. So, so boring. It was just “do your job and then come home, eat, and go to bed” every single day, and there weren’t really any other kids nearby for me to play with.

The one nice thing was getting to lay in the seaweed. It was soft and comfortable and you could hide in it for hours. Sometimes I’d take the fish with me, but it’s pretty hard to find them once they get lost in there, so I usually just went alone. It was quiet, and it gave me time to daydream and relax

I already have so many mems, I might as well share a few more!

Giulia was good at sewing! I don’t mean like making new clothes, but she was great at fixing any rips or tears. That patch on her pants was added by herself. Once, in Genova, I accidentally popped a button off of my favorite shirt and she offered to fix it. She has this jar full of a ton of pretty buttons, and she let me pick whichever one I wanted :D

Sometimes, when Giulia’s mama would turn on the radio and we’d all start dancing, we’d get down that jar to use it like a maraca or shaker!

I remember a few things from when we got back to Portorosso too! Like that Alberto learned to cook! He was getting pretty good at it (he learned from the best), but he shouldn’t be left alone with a fire still ^^*

And Alberto asked me to read all my school books to him at night. He’d always say “c’mon, you know I can’t read”, but if he couldn’t read then how’d he write all those letters to me? I know he just liked hearing them out loud X) I didn’t mind, I just missed hanging out together.

For starters, there’s so much humans take for granted. The biggest ones are electricity and fire. You can just… flip a switch and suddenly a thing comes to life?? That’s incredible!! We didn’t really have hot or cold foods in the ocean, everything was just lukewarm.

We didn’t have drinks either! Liquids don’t really stay in cups when everything around you is also a liquid. Humans have soup and tea and smoothies and hot cocoa and lemonade! It’s amazing! :D

There are other things humans take for granted too though, like paper. We didn’t have letters, or drawings and paintings, we couldn’t make spitballs or paper airplanes, no origami, nothing.

We didn’t have spiderwebs that hang in the corners or clocks on the walls that sound like a tiny drummer is sitting in them, we didn’t have fences that could just keep the fish from swimming wherever they want, we didn’t have candles that make pretty shadows on the wall. There was a lot we didn’t have, and it was amazing getting to tell mama and papa all about it!
