I’m confused about Nathan’s trouble

The way he talks about it makes it seem like he’s had it his whole life, but the troubles were gone for 27 years

A Haven post! Oh I have missed talking about the show.

Anyways, here I go. So if I remember correctly, Nathan's Trouble was triggered when he was younger( I'm thinking he was around 7) Duke and Nathan talked about how Nathan broke his arm when they were kids and Nathan said he didn't feel it. This fits into the time that Lucy was around. So the whole 27 years, so when Lucy went, so did the Troubles, but they can still be triggered. So the 27 years is perhaps more of a baseline of when Troubles are more likely to show up, like as the cycle starts up again the Troubles can be triggered more frequently. Nathan's Trouble was triggered again by the fight with Duke. Just going by the fact Nathan was already a cop he was in his mid 20's,maybe? So when the show starts it I'd exactly 27 years since the Colorado kid was killed and Lucy left. So we meet Nathan, he's in his early 30s and if say his Trouble was triggered in his mid 20's (at the latest maybe at 27 years old) he has had lived with it approximately 7 years. So if it's a cycle, he has probably had it since the resurfacing of the Troubles leading up to Audrey showing up again to "stop" the Troubles.

But,honestly it's never addressed and we just roll with it.

Earlier this year[2019], Bryant had an arc on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and says it was a fantastic experience. “That was a blast. First of all, it’s an awesome show that has been going on for a while and has tons of fans, for good reason. It shoots here in LA [where I live], which is a lovely departure from [working away from home]. So that was a beautiful thing to do,” he shares.

“We were so spoiled on Haven to have such a great community around the show, really fantastic friends, all the actors and crew and production. It was just a really incredible family that we developed over a number of years out in that weird place in Nova Scotia.”

“[Since then], I have learned not expect that necessarily on other projects. And my experience immediately on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was that they have also created something really warm and welcoming and loving and a beautiful family that they’ve got going on. I was really, really lucky to be welcomed there.”

Charlie (Dalman) is an autistic boy determined to set a Guinness World Record by stacking 1400 Jenga blocks. His mother Marissa (DeLoach) and stepfather Eric (Bryant) encourage him to reach for his dream and they all celebrate when he gets the good news that he’ll have get his chance on Christmas Eve. In the spirit of the holiday, they organize a fundraiser giving the townspeople an opportunity to donate and decorate a Jenga block, with the proceeds going to benefit kids with autism. Charlie’s journey to setting the Jenga world record gives them all the chance to learn more not just about themselves, but about what family really means.
