Finally got to developing my 4 stocks of 35mm film. That means I've got some more photo's from the past time rolling out on my channels the coming days!

I must say that 35mm film definitely brings some unique character. I found that I really enjoyed being completely there in the moment of shooting. Every shot costs money, so every shot gets some extra care and attention.

For the first time in many years, we've finally had some substantial snowfall in the Netherlands. So ofcourse I took the opportunity to hike and chill out.

Even whipped out my Nikon F3 for some analog shooting, those will be posted soon!

The skies can make some beautiful artistry. You only have to be there to witness it (and know when to wake up)

We are simply a witness of the art that nature is.

Just a simple walk through the woods. I came here to exercise, walking 10km with a heavy pack, but I couldn't let these sceneries go uncaptured. So, instead of my usual camera, I let my phone do the trick, and in my opinion, it didn't turn out too bad :)

Some more pics I took in Cornwall at Land's End. With a long exposure I was able to capture the waves as a sort mist.

The same scene, two moods: Color softens the story. Black and white sharpens the emotion.

Seeing all the different landscapes the UK has to offer, I'm starting to love it's nature more and more.

At evening when the sun gets low... light, shadow, and colours come truly alive.

What's your favourite type of landscapes?

After a 13.2 km hike under the blazing sun, with a total ascent and descent of 590 meters, we completed a circular route that led us to the summit of Pen y Fan, standing tall at 886 meters. It's the highest peak in southern Britain, second only to Cadair Idris.

While the distance was manageable, the tough terrain, steep climbs, and the relentless sun made it a real challenge.

But at the end, with an ice-cold pint waiting and stunning views burned into memory (and camera), it was more than worth it.

So recently, I found an old, rusting knife (in Dutch, it's called "houthiep") at a local vintage market. Bent steel, dried out wooden handle. So I thought, why not try to repair? It took quite some de-rusting methods, a lot of sanding, sharpening, and finishing it off with a fresh coat of oil. This beast of a "houthiep" is ready to cut some wood!

....and of course, I had to take a nice picture after finishing it.📷

Finally we've seen a return of some golden sunlight in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it didn't last quite long...
