☘─ ━Eɑᚱτʜ ᛖαնe A soft smile was etched onto her lips as soon she saw the two reactions, the bond between the two was shining like stars so it was obvious to her how much the other cared for her celestial spirits there. Besides, it was really cute seeing them together like this too. However that sudden question did snap her out of her thoughts and she blinked once in return, she really didn’t mention why she joined to her guildmates did she? ❝Why? Well, a friend of mine and I were deciding what to do with our lives than what we usually do. So we wanted to look for something more….challenging and fun to do and we often hear tales of guilds of all kinds here and there so we decided to look for one that would suit us.❞ She stated with a small hum and paused to meet the eyes of the other as she answered there. Sure some of them on the list seemed fun but they wanted a twist of adventure when joining a guild anyway. ❝One of them on the list was Fairy Tail, since we often see the name on the news and such-it seemed fun. The other was Lamia Scale though so we were at a deadlock until we thought split up and test our friendship that way. She went for Lamia scale because it was interesting and fun while I went here because I wanted to find somewhere I could fit in and honestly I wasn’t expecting it to be this friendly or welcoming but it made it more fun! Everyone is so nice and kind here that it sort of becoming like a third family to me in a way……although I’m still getting used to the small daily fights here.❞

“ 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥, 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪!?! “

     Such a story sounded calm with a pinch of sad atmosphere. Lucy couldn’t help but wonder how the other girl was doing. Lamia scale huh? That’s where Chelia was. Surely her friend would have a nice time there as well. Still the thought of having to split with your friend and join different Guilds sounded upsetting to Lucy. In which she found herself sitting and listening to the other more. So it was fine in the end? It was easy to agree on the constant explosions this guild had. Although as if was now, the Celestial mage had gotten used to it and honestly started to be dragged into it on the enjoyment scale. Soon, she thought, this girl will also enjoy it as well.

“ Do you still talk to your friend? I mean... You two are in different guilds but i’m sure there are moments where you two can see each other, right? “

Natsu would wait as patiently as he could while letting Lucy pick a job for them to do. He would look at the flyer when Lucy held it up to show him. “Looks good, let’s take it,” he said, smiling at her. “A petnapper huh?” he’d grin a bit wider. “We get to kick ass and save someone’s pet,”

“ 𝕐𝕦𝕡, 𝕪𝕦𝕡! “

     That also meant Lucy would be able to get her rent paid without having to listen to that old lady scold her over it! How amazing would it be to have her landlord be grateful over Lucy finding her precious pet?! Giggles left the blonde as she covered her devil curled lips. 

“ Alright!! Let’s go Natsu!!! We’ll definitely find that pet thief if its the last thing we do!! “

This would be interesting if Lucy did share and they had a casual conversation, perhaps this could be the fresh start she wished.

“ 𝔸𝕙 𝕚𝕥𝕤... “

Nothing.

     More like it was embarrassing and most probably depressing. It was awkward to talk about something like her feelings with the other but that didn’t mean Lucy wouldn’t speak her mind.

“ I was.....thinking about everything that’s happened till now. Sounds cheesy but i’m happy for a lot of things. I’d like to think I've grown from them. “

     “Alright.” Freed gave her another mild smile, fingers idly playing with the rim of his empty glass. He really didn’t intend to make any of his guild mates feel as though there was still some sort of barrier between them, that he was better than them or any toxic image that was supposed to be in the past. He had taken a mental note of the fact that Lucy’s had a certain amount of nervousness coursing through her veins before approaching him, and that he would keep working on polishing some of his bonds within this found family of his.

     “I agreed, so you don’t need to be concerned about stealing my time, Lucy.” Or worry about anything else, really. “I have been meaning to run a few errands downtown, so perhaps it would be a nice idea to combine them with a simple walk.”

“ 𝕎𝕠𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕗𝕦𝕝! “

     Surely he could see right through her. Hopefully she didn’t come across being TOO eager or too nervous. In fact it was nerves of contentment. Other than a select few, Lucy had never actually gone many places with anyone else in the guild. So, despite the fretfulness when it came to getting along with others, Lucy shows with her smile just how happy she was to have someone accept! Hopping up and down while skipping, she makes her way towards the guild entrance.

“ I also have some things to get as well! That’s convenient isn’t it?! “

Fighting back his partial transformation was difficult and it was easier to give in. Would Lucy be freaked out if she saw the changes he was experiencing? He would take that chance and assume she would accept him for the way he was in a powered up state. He could even come up with some excuse or a lie to fool her if she asked to many questions or was freaked out. Taking a calm breath, he let the change take over to where he still had his humanity.

A clash of thunder and lightning shook the guild that caused the lights to flicker back and forth as if they were being mysteriously played with. Sting’s demeanor had changed from being very cautious to one of instinctual readiness. Never mind the nervous energy that had swept over him. Instead he was careless and quite confident. A surge of adrenaline had rushed into his brain and seemed to be controlling his emotions. Blue irises with draconic pupils narrowed and white scales appeared on the sides of his face and body.  A sexy smile complete with sharp fangs gleamed in her direction. “No problem. After a warm shower you must be hungry. I could go for something myself.” He licked his lips. “Something with juicy meat or even soup. That would hit the spot just right about now.”

“ 𝕀....𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕙 𝕚’𝕞 𝕒 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕙𝕦𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕪... “

     This wasn’t right. At the very least, this atmosphere wasn’t. Sting just...didn’t appear as his normal self. Even so, the only moment that caused Lucy to jump in shock- was the lightning. Stay calm, just stay calm. A deep breath was taken as she studied the other, wondering if she had been seeing things that weren’t actually there. Maybe so ( after all she had a long day ). Despite this Dragon Slayer not being apart of her family; that didn’t mean he wasn’t a good friend, as everyone else in his guild was. A lot of things had happened in their lifetime but those wrongs were forgiven.

{ Is fine to ask if he’s okay.....? Maybe that’s being too nosy? }

     Bare feet tapped the cold floor to soon take steps toward Sting, eyes cautious with a hint of worry. It was fine right? She could ask right? She reached her hand out to try and place her palm against his arm but she had stopped due to a cold chill down her spine. Did she not dry her hair properly?

“ Um....Sting... “

No.

“ Soup sounds nice. “

Not now. Surely there is nothing to be worried about....right?

Honestly, though both of them are really cute together like that so she wasn’t lying when she stated that and not to mention that the other was actually pretty too. 

“ 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕤! “

     It was so sweet to hear someone agree. After all Lucy loved her celestial spirits with all her heart. Knowing that someone thought they were good together simply filled Lucy with joy. A smile so bright from ear to ear was now present on her expression while her arms locked with Aries who gave her own smile at the situation.

“ I’ve wanted to ask...What made you come to Fairy Tail? “

“Sorry, did I scare ya?” Natsu grinned cheekily during her moment of shock. “I hope I didn’t seriously scare ya, gonna be okay?” he asked, nodding to her when she said she got to pick the job. “S’fine, so long as I get to get outta the guild, I’ve been so bored!” he’d finish with a huge grin on his face.

“ 𝕀 𝕔𝕒𝕟’𝕥 𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕪 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥. “

     It was true that Lucy had also been rather bored lately so the excitement of picking a job to do with Natsu was a sweet feeling. A job that isn’t too risky but hyper enough to not make the dragon slayer bored out of his mind. Staring at all the jobs on the board, Lucy placed her finger against her lips thinking hard on what would be best.

“ This one...? Eh... Natsu look! “ Taking the paper from the board, the celestial mage showed Natsu with a surprised smile 

“ This job was put up by my landlady! It says someone stole her pet so shes paying whoever that finds it! Let’s do this one Natsu! “

       When feeling the soft hand of the blonde girl brush against her very own hand , a light shade of red had painted Mirajane’s cheeks as she grinned .  Her ocean blue eyes were radiant considering they were shining with nothing but mere joy . She was truly happy to be able to spend time with her friend , since they were going to have this time to themselves and observe the beautiful view around them . If she was lucky , perhaps her idea of nature would be just enough to give Lucy inspiration for writing . 

       The demon woman had dreamingly sighed while placing her palm to her cheek , her thoughts focusing on the environment of nature . A bunch of suggestions were circling her her as there different kinds of things she planned on seeing , such as flowers and lakes . Those places were most likely good places to start , right ? Its earthly yet soothing colors were something that could potentially be able to start motivation .

       ❝ That’s a good insight of trying to jot down some ideas when writing about the topic of nature ! It’s nice to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Magnolia … a great place we could start with could be some flowers ,perhaps ? ❞

     Though its been so long she would have to think hard on where exactly it was. As a child her family did own a large amount of land, so flower fields weren't particularly uncommon for her. Still the beauty that was viewing such a place had always been sweet. Maybe writing about this day with Mirajane would bring back her writers block. Surely!! Already getting up and spinning happily awaiting for her friend to come along with her towards the front door of their guild, Lucy smiled in excitement. Yeah she didn’t only need Natsu to have a good time!

“ Though is it okay for you to come along with me? You’re usually in the guild i hope i’m not taking you away from what you usually do. “
