“What has been your biggest struggle? How did you manage that situation? How did you solve it?”

At the moment the biggest struggle that I´ve ever faced is not knowing for sure what to do and what career to follow, I mean not knowing clearly what path to go to succeed in my life.

I had a big dilemma with myself because I wanted to do a lot of things at once, I wanted to be a nurse, I wanted to have my own dental clinic, and I even wanted to be a lawyer, they're very different things, so I had to think carefully about the situation, until I found the career I was sure I wanted to follow. At first my mother thought that it was a hurried decision, but I vowed to her that I would try very hard to prove her that it was the right career for me.

They say that what is sown is harvested, I know where I have to go now, I know what I have to do and how to do it, , and I know I can demonstrate that I'm capable of doing things, but only if I firmly believe in myself

what is your proudest moment? what is your least proud moment?

Throughout our lives there are situations that make us feel that we can do everything, but also there are moments that we wish them to never have happened, avoid those moments it´s just impossible. In my life, there have been moments of which I have not felt very proud, but I have learned to live with them. For example, I remember once when I had piano classes, I hadn’t practiced anything and I had to do a presentation, the presentation was abysmal and my piano professor was really angry, he expected more from me. After that, my mother didn’t allow me to use my phone for two weeks.

I also remember having moments where I have felt really good with my actions and efforts; I have always been adept or good at studying, that´s why when I graduated from 9th grade, in the graduation act they delivered gold medals for academic excellence, they delivered it to the people whose notes average was higher than 90 points, that day I won one. I remember the happiness of my parents and mine knowing that the effort that I made the whole year and following the adequate steps to be an excellent student really worked out, I felt complete with myself for being able to make my parents feel proud

This is a question a little difficult to answer because we don´t know yet if we are going to achieve that goal, it depends in the determination of each person; but there are some things that I want and I know I’m going to achieve.  First, I want to graduate from high school with a high average notes so I can get more and better opportunities of study, second I want to graduate from pianist at the National Conservatory of Music, because the piano is an instrument that represents me as a person, and finally, I want to study my university career in another country different from Guatemala so I can specialize myself more in what I want to become one day.

With no doubt, reach my goals are not going to be easy, it´s going to be a huge challenge for me, but I certainly know that nothing is impossible, we just have to have an open mind to learn new things that will be useful for us in a future not so far. I´m conscious that if I want to reach all my goals I have to study daily, be constant, have a lot of discipline and over all, trust in God.
