They had a secret knock. Knock. Knock-Knock, Knock. It was simple. Too simple but it was theirs. Roxanne waited until the door opened. She had decided to sneak to her dorm first before coming here and showering. She knew she was probably gonna get a small scolding for the bump that was evident on her forehead but Quidditch practice had lasted a little longer than she had hoped and the scrimmage game may have gotten slightly out of hand. When she opened the door, Roxie gave an apologetic smile. âI know Iâm late but can I come to bed now?â ( @luciapence )
Knock. Knock-knock. Knock. Lucia waved her wand, not bothering to look up from her Charms book. She didnât bother looking up as she heard the door swing open, or even when Roxanne spoke aloud. She did smile, however, and patted the space besides hers in her bed, welcoming her best friend to join her. Not that she ever needed an invitation. âYouâre always late, Ro--â
Her sentence was cut short, the words stuck in her throat as she finally glanced up, Luciaâs eyes zeroing in on Roxanneâs forehead. Her smile fell, her book pushed to the side, and she immediately was up, on her feet, her hands cupping Roxâs face. âOh no, baby. What happened?âÂ
