How are we all doing today? Here's me on resin casting.  The formula that I use is 1/4 cup of resin and 1/4 teaspoon for the hardiner.  The RTV Vinyl I'm yet to get the measurement because its dependent upon the details of what you will be casting.  Ideally its allowed to set for a 24 hour period of drying to let details set in.

My casting attempt brought me this.  The left is the output that i had to fix with polymer clay because the details didn't settled in.  On the right is the clay sculpture yet to before casting.

This I love so much... actually there's two more of them as I'm paying homage to the concept: "See, Hear and Speak NO Evil!"  As interpreted through Mecha Organica. 

Made this middle of October 2012.  Time seems to fly so fast isn't it!  I wonder if the Mayan's prophecy of destruction would come true.  Not that I'm wanting it but perhaps its the spin of a new paradigm is what would emerge.

I'm posting twice because I want to make up for the time I've been away..

This one is dedicated to my friends: Dinds, Ems, Ming and Nadya and Revs & Xten.  Thank you for tolerating my creative what ifs.  I feel so privilege and honored that I got to meet you, whenever we hangout you make me feel like a winner.  :) :) :)

So this is for Us for our goals and wild what ifs and to others who are dreaming if their dreams and wishes would ever come true.

Delusion is my friend... I cannot stop believing in my wild what ifs... because to do so would mean I've given up on myself on this part of me who believes and trusts the whole what ifs and unseen forces that drives me to the "edge of glory" and madness at same time.

How are we all doing today... tonight?

Ain't it funny how timezones work.  Lately I've been so preoccupied learning geometry, patterns and fibonacci stuff that i intend to add for my art stuff.  The Greeks adored sacred geometry and it was evident on their architectures and sculptures...

Now in relation to my art making... let's just say I love the swirly patterns you can derive from the boxes and straight lines.

Since I've been allowing Delusions to run amok on my mind.... hehehe!

OOh and I have to say thanks to @ishotcha for the boost of confidence!  This one is not for the show but a prelude of what could probably come up....

At times, Delusion can be a good ally it challenges you to leap out of your comfort zones but sometimes it can be a burden as you'll be literally out of sync... what was that song... "Merrily... Merrily... life is but a dream!"

Hello, How are we all doing today?

Its been a series of fun filled endeavors both in the creative field and Spiritual journey for me.   I've found a way of how to integrate the Pop Surreal, the Spiritual & my Filipino Heritage its all in my sketch pad- apologies as I can't upload em now.

On to more art stuff: I've learned that Process is an integral part of my art making.  I can't work without my set of music, I can't sit still and I like telling stories. I've also discovered a new weapon of choice: Pens!

I love the dynamic capabilities that Pens offer- how its able to capture what you feel and translate it to paper and how Pens allow you to respond accordingly to what you hear- like music and its like dancing.... Oh & me not know how to dance-haha!

Okay me baaad.  Haven't been able to keep up the update because I've been busy working on drawing proposals- Sorry.  And then I'm slowly leaping out in the 3d scope as in Origami & "dreaming" a production design for..... Crossing my fingers it'll come true. XD

Anyways... the weather had changed its now rainy and sunny and me not like the rain.

The challenge for me now in relation to art stuff is Integration.  How to integrate all the ideas- the Pop Vibe, my Filipino art culture & Spirituality.

So far here is it...

Kamusta (Kah-Mus-Tah)/ Hello/ Greetings!!!

Last Monday was one of my bestest nights I got to see Lady Gaga perform her Born THis Way Ball and its surreal!  We were quite close on the stage too!!! Until now I still feel the party vibes....

Lady Gaga for me is one of the artists who remains true to her core and would not allow to alter her creative expression for the sake of public approval- one of the few artists nowadays who remains true to her craft.  I admire her courage and how she continues to make people think out of the box.  Which at this day and age its quite hard to find artist(s) either falls into generic trend or  they fade away due to their eccentricity remaining an outcast just because "society" can not relate.

Aside from having to face stiff competition not just with their fellow artists but with media's immediacy in relation to news & networking.  One would be tempted to do extra length of endeavors therefore loosing their true intent on what made them so passionate about.  In short they Loose their CORE....

An artist's core is akin to a fire- it burns, it inspires and can be transmuted.  Its like a personal blueprint on which it is unique to every individual therefore making each Vibe that they generate different cheerful, sad, melancholic, angst it goes and on and can influence other artists and people in general.  

For someone who dabbles in art, I can compare the Vibes as similar to wav

Hi! 

Its been after two months since my last post.  Lots of things came up.  A good friend's transition from here to eternity and then the summer time. 

I'm done with my 20 pieces of drawings on paper and off to "drop em of"  So here's me fingers crossing that its gonna be a good good one. :D

I found myself also trying digital art for the first time.  Turns out I liked it and its very liberating. 

Oooh and I love pop techno from different artists! As each one of them has different vibes I could go and on about vibes, music and artwork and artists... But i'll put that on the next post.

Dedicating this to Lady Gaga for her Born this Way Ball.  This is gonna be tomorrow! Can't wait and all pumped up!

Hello!

First I want to say thank you Tony Robbins- I've been listening to his works via youtube since I began working on the 20 illustrations last week.  Such wonderful insights!

Just 5 more and am all done with the 20 art stuff--> what is it all about? Its a prelude to the 4 goals that I need to acquire before 2012 ends. 

Yes Dreams do have deadlines.... when and how will we accomplish them.  What about you?  Have you figure out what you want to do with your life journey?

It seems some of us traverses life without knowing what to do with the time in our hands aside from the day to day routines of living... Sometimes- ideas and what to do finds us when we're ready and willing to embrace change.

Its the onset of summer here in the Philippines and I can't be more happier- this is my favorite time.  Can't wait to go to the beach!  But not till my art commitments are done.  I'm currently making 20 pcs. of 11"x17" illustrations...  5 down 15 more to follow!!! Its a surprise so here's me brimming with optimism.

I am now slowly venturing back to Pop Surrealism and boy I'm so grateful from everything that had transpired from the month of January and this Hearts month.  Isn't it incredible when serendipities happens and inspires you?  

Have you ever had that moment where you feel your desire becomes larger than who you are and its pulling you right out of your comfort zones?

Anyways,

Tomorrow am off to go to U.P. College of Fine Arts, Art fair.
